NPC dialogues are often randomly muted

It happens on random NPC's...pretty often I just stop hearing their dialogue. The bug is completely random, and varies from NPC to NPC (so one may have it's dialogue muted, then I talk to the next one and I hear it just normally). Also, it's not tied to specific NPC's that I know of, so some day some dialogue may play mute, then the next try after I close the game it may play normally.
