I realize I'll probably get a biased answer but is ESO worth coming back to?
I quit right when clockwork city DLC was released because my PC just couldn't handle trials and pvp, I've since upgraded and am considering coming back.

Also, any big changes since jewelry crafting became a thing? That's the last thing I remember. I heard a rumour everything is buyable now including levels and skyshards is that as far as the micro transactions go?

Also, how's the population PC NA?

Yes if you like the game. There has been a lot added since you left, so you would have to see for yourself. PvE seems to be rather fun.

As to PvP which is what I mainly do, the performance is not good rn. There you will feel some frustration, lol.

All in all, I would certainly say ESO is worth coming back to for GreyMoor

    Have a wonderful day 😊

Levels aren't buyable unless you count paying others gold to carry you on a leveling run in Craglorn. As for skyshards once you've found every skyshard in a zone you can then "buy" those skill shards on an alt, ie get the skill points that would give. But you still have to do it on one character and they're expensive as hell, cheaper to just invest the time to get them.
They've also put in the option to change the Alliance a character is in if you already have the Any Race, Any Alliance bundle. Not really leveling or power related though.

Apart from those micro transactions are cosmetic. You can pay a bundle to look fancy or get a fancy home, but not to get ahead in the game.

Levels - you need a 'carry' (CP the same)
Skyshards/Guild Lines - if you've done it once you can drop cash to not do it again on alts.

New since jewelry - Necromancers and mobile miniganes(Scry/Dig) - Antiquities

If you like questing, group content, or can stand the not-fixed PVP performance, then yes, ESO is still worth it. We've had a lot of good content added since Clockwork City. The Morrowind -> Clockwork City -> Summerset story arc is particularly fun.

    Big changes:
    Jewelry crafting
    Psijic order skill line
    Necromancer class
    Antiquities
    Alliance-locked campaigns
    Battlegrounds is solo-only queue

Yes. BGs/IC/PVE are worth coming back for. If you like PvP roll a necro and warden, any easy access to worthwhile buffs/debuffs have been nerfed to Oblivion or completely removed

If you like questing and have not done everything already, definitely. For more challenging content maybe not because server performance is still a serious problem.

This is NOT a criticism. I just don't understand the question.

No one here knows what your personal tastes are, and no one here knows the type and style of play you enjoy. Only You know what you enjoy. So, no one here is even qualified to answer the question.

You obviously have an interest in playing.

You upgraded the computer, you want to give it a shot so - Give it a Shot. If you played before, you already have the account. Play for free and see if you like it.

    IMHO

If you enjoyed the game before you will still enjoy it. Also, the game population has held strong, actually has grown since you left. Zos had to add capacity to the PC servers last year.
