    Thank you.
So they raised the floor and lowered the ceiling. Except the ceiling has spikes in it now and the floor is also lava.

Slimecraw is good if you're soloing, don't love some other set better, and aren't a warden.

Of course, it's also pretty easy to farm.

I wonder if they'll ever add a helmet that hasn't been in there 500 times already.

If Zaan goes in, practically everyone would be wearing it.

I haven't done a count but it seems as though we're getting close to the point where the DLC dungeons might begin to outnumber the base game dungeons.

Yet the monster set offerings seem to be weighted ~4:1 in favor of the base game sets. Rather suspicious indeed.

Too bad that only one food is used in PvP nowadays, and it isn't a drink.

Which one? I use Bewitched Sugar skulls in my trolling support tank and bow NB but still use Witchmother's Brew for my magsorc.

    Another weekend of "meh" items...
(Yep, I know, BTB, but you can farm that quite easy & upgrade it to gold, and it is definitely better & faster way , than to "wait" for it to be at gold vendor).

Thanks for posting it anyway OP. ;)

The story that the Golden Vendor has random items is one big lie. Items to be sold are probably chosen by someone from ZOS staff.

Right now there are 24/16 nonDLC and DLC dungeons but the rate is like 8 non-DLC helmets for every 1 DLC helmet available for sale. Somehow the algorithm favors heavily the base dungeons helmets. And whenever a DLC helmet appears, it's one that appeared again in a previous sale.

BTB was on the golden in February. It is random, just weighted towards base game sets

    Why "...aren't a warden"?

Because slotting Bird of Prey is generally more efficient than wearing Slimecraw.

Given the monster hats are one of the key selling points for DLC dungeons, ZOS would be mad to effectively devalue their product by giving them away. The idea that they even appear on the choice list for the Golden is ridiculous. It’s basically just the regular dungeons’ hats n shoulders and DLC shoulders.

Zaan will be nerfed into oblivion before it ever appears on the Golden.

There are many PVP players who dont touch PVE at all. How are they going to get the helms? Also, getting a helm is not a simple matter if it comes from a difficult DLC dungeon. It requires a well coordinated group with equally skilled players. I still remember what a mess it was for me to complete vSCP for Zaan with pugs.

Golden Vendor is a great way for getting access to monster helms. They just need to be a little more honest. If they claim they are going to sell "random" helms , they should be random. Not based on an algorithm that favors specific sets.

The whole point of the Golden is to allow PvP players access to these essential items. They could easily address the issue you described by only allowing ESO+ subs or DLC owners purchase the items from their respective DLC.

Update the golden to offer 2 helm and shoulders as a set. One base and one dlc in order on a rotation. As new dungeons are added put them on the bottoms of the list.

Be safe and have fun 😁
