Whats you opinion on this

HM toggle - this seems nice but the other two...

Group Mount: Was something like this requested? This really feels like a novelty without any actual use? Not sure if effort should be put into something like this...feels a bit like a vanity project....?

Homestead Pathing: On one hand this was requested by community and seems nice - my issue is, if youre not at home, youre not really seeing these npc anyway... and you still don't have any more reasons to visit your home because there is nothing to do in it... I would really like to see more things TO DO in your house that give me a reason to be there and invite people there....

    Oddly, I've seen this requested a few times, but I still don't really get why.

    It seems really strange they would spent time on this when there is so much else that could be done and is more frequently requested (cough overland difficulty cough)

    Not everyone wants overland difficulty, @Faulgor.

    There's a lot of back and forth in that recent thread.

    I don't do a lot of housing myself ... but character pathing in homes has been a big QOL request (from housing advocates) for quite awhile.

    I am going to guess that HM toggle is talking about an overland difficulty since it is such a vague comment and we have HM toggles in trials.

    Zos recently commented on this and said they have discussed it before but it is not something they are considering working on now. iirc.

    If you look at one of the latest suggestions for this the request is for a total revamp of all overland and quest enemy NPCs to not only make them more difficult but give them new combat moves. Granted, I would not expect Zos to redesign the game to that extent but it does demonstrate to Zos that no matter what they do there will be some that are not happy. Makes one question if Zos should even think about it again since it will not stop the threads asking for change.

    Wait.. People do, do things in the homes.

    Guild halls that have all set crafting stations, transmute, mundus stones, etc. so people are there doing those things.

    Just hanging there chatting with guildies or just spending time in there decorating.

    All of these things are done in the homes, and it will be nice to have the addition of more varied life within the homes while there. And also to feel it's more lived in when you return there and all the animals and npc, and asst. are/have moved about.


    That said, I like the other additions as well, and while I don't plan on taxi'ing anyone about Tamriel, I can see some using that feature and it will be totally hilarious when I see that doubled up mount run past me the first time.

    And on that Overland difficulty thing. Yes, I see it brought up alot.
    But I don't see them ever changing course from what they implemented with OneTamriel.
    Just as much the same as adding a PVE Cyro.
    Some things are just not gonna happen, no matter the chatter.

    If I am not mistaken the HM toggle is for the new group dungeons, in which you have to defeat all bosses in HM in order to do the last boss in HM.

    Also liking the new group mounts, this is defenitely a welcome addition to the game. Too often people with newer alts come late at fights in cyro.

    I could see this being cool if its basically a test for very large scale mounts that can hold groups and then you can battle other groups on their mounts, basically like esos version of ship battles...but I doubt thats the

    I'm not saying everyone wants (optional) higher overland difficulty, just that it's one of the most requested features. Certainly more so than group mounts.

    That makes more sense and would have made more sense if stated in the OP. since there is talk from time to time about the overland difficulty.

    Personally, I think it should be a setting chosen before starting that cannot be changed back and forth. Same with trials.
