For multiple surveys (or multiple treasure maps) you can just relog, this will cause a respawn.

Personally, I hate mobs following you only to de-agro when you finally get fed up with them enough to decide to kill them...like seriously, I wish they'd just either run away on their own or stay once you attack them, but this is just maddening. Run away from it hoping it'll leave you alone, then get annoyed by it getting into your way, turn around all like 'FINE, SO BE IT, I'LL KILL YOU THE MOST PAINFUL DEATH POSSIBLE THEN'...and it runs away after your first skill and you stand there like an idiot, fuming with you crystal frags proc'd and nothing to cast it on.

Relog is looong. Best way is to run away far enough (like, far enough, so that you can't see the spot) and return

For me relogging takes longer than riding off a bit and coming back. Can take as much as 7-10 minutes on a bad day.

Yikes. That blows. Takes me about a minute at most these days (don't need to fully quit the game, just go to char screen and back) so I lazily do that. Can definitely see how that'd be a nuisance at 10 minutes though.

There was a time in the game before dueling that people in Grahtwood on xbox would just spam and spam abilities. To get or return your pledges as AD you basically had to crash.

Yeah I like that. I don't have a pet squirrel though. Would also like to be able to put a few birds in the trees. Maybe soon? This new announcement is good news and I'm glad it is happening.
