Stealth sets stack?

Hi Quick one

I am buying sets to sneak and go stealth ... however can they stack?

I have “nights mother” giving 2 meter radius and reduce cost of sneak with 25%
I also have “night terror” also giving 2 meters radius detection and 27% cost less of sneak

Do they stack ?? Is it then 4 meters and 52% less cost of sneak??

Yes, they stack. You can wear both sets with Vesture of Darloc Brae set to get -6 meters to your stealth detection radius when wearing parts of all 3.

Passive skill "feline ambush" from khajit decreases your detection radius by 3 meters.
Base detection radius is 6,5 meters ; 2 sets (NM embrace / darloc / night terror) + Khajit = "negative" detection raidus :-)

What are you best recommendations to go stealth? I will use it for thieves guild and dark brotherhood!

I am magicka sorcerer so i will just have a medium armor set up with low magicka for the stealth set up.
Are there any traits important (besides stamina) that are interesting for stealth?

Does this mean that you can walk 1 meter from them in their line of sight .... without them noticing you???

The radius those sets have an impact on ... are those only for the big white circles while doing thieves guild quests? Or is it also impactful when just running in towns and next to city guards?

The big white circles in Heists and Sacraments pull you out of stealth. It does not matter what your stealth detection radius is in those cases because you are no longer in stealth. But as long as you avoid those lantern-wielding NPCs, you can practically step on the toes of other NPCs and not be detected, including town guards and merchants.

Did all TG and DB quests on magsorc main with just invisibility pots, no special gear needed tbh.

My Khajit has maxed racial skills and is wearing night mother's. When getting too close she is detected.

However, adding 3 pieces of Night Terror to her outfit and leaving all Night Mother's on as well, doesnt change any detection radius for her.
She still gets detected when getting too close. And that is not even close enough to surprise attack.

So, what am i doing wrong here?
