Arcane+Damage vs Infused+Dmg Jewels

Working out if I should be running Arcane+damage enchant on jewellery, in the past ive always ran Infused + Damage but I realised this wont allow for stacking with mag builds strong max stats bonuses, and why NOT have 50k max mag...

Dmg Arcane (Yellow): 174*10.5+870 = 2697
Dmg Arcane (Purple): 174+840 = 2667

Dmg Infused (Yellow): 278*10.5 = 2919
Dmg Infused (Purple): 262*10.5 = 2814

Looking at yellow jewellery only, with magelight, full undauntet mettle bonus, +13% maxmag
2697*1.13 = 3047

Or yellow infused damage with 20% wep dmg buff
2919 * 1.2 = 3376

However on my magplar, I dont have a permanant source of Major Brutality without chugging pots which outside of vet content and PVE id rather not do.

What would you guys run? I like builds that do all content PVP and PVE with minimap changes, so I want a unified solution... Also let me know if I missed anything important, been on hiatus for 2 years, its likely I did :P

Magplar should go with 3 Bloodthirsty.

Aware that bloodthirsty is BIS for PVE, but im looking for raw damage in all high end content rather than just PVE/trials :)

Might be missing the question, but it seems that there is a vast difference between running PVE group gear and PVP gear. So I don't think its possible to run the same jewelry sets in PVP and PVE, i.e. your quest for a unified solution. Especially if you are running something like False Gods or Mother's Sorrow in PVE, which have far less utility in PVP.

As for bloodthirsty vs arcane vs infused in PVE, bloodthirsty is the best. Yes, some of the magplar's skills scale off of the magicka pool but I don't know if its enough to warrant using infused over arcane and not using bloodthristy.

So maybe keep everything arcane and split the difference?

Someone better at math can probably tell me I am wrong, but this is what I believe is generally true.

If you want to hit the hardest outside of execute, you should generally go with infused. If you want to look at a trial scenario, where boss ST DPS (100-0%) is the main goal, Bloodthirsty is the best. If you are looking for a jack of all trades, go with Arcane. It is not far behind infused. It also means more magic so things like shields are bigger and your sustain is ultimately better (bigger pool at beginning of fight means you can go longer). In PVP, I have messed with both infused and Arcane, and always come back to arcane (or tri-stat).

I also think that if you are talking about purple jewelry, arcane becomes even more compelling. The difference between gold and purple is more noticeable with both bloodthirsty and infused. So if you dont plan to upgrade the jewelry, stick with arcane.

Both are good. Infused will likely always net you more raw damage.
Keep in mind though that most classes only get 20% to their spell damage while in CP, you also have 20% magicka bonus and then 6% undaunted and 7% magelight and maybe even more on some classes. In No CP, you can not outmatch infused.

The PTS server and the UESP Build Editor are both good sandboxes to try out the different jewelry traits, @validifyedneb18_ESO.

The traits can change depending on the rest of your build ... such as gear set bonuses, mundus stone, and CP allocations.

It does change on my Templar with changes to the above build inputs.

In PVP you get (at most setups, unless going for a max magicka build) most out of Infused trait, with Weapon or Spell dmg glyphs, because of the Alliance War buffs like the 10% more Weapon/Spell dmg for 10 minutes after taking a keep or resource so higher raw Spell/Wep dmg from Infused Glyphs scale better with that in mind too. And, when you get Minor/Major Courage on top of those.. it scales up even better. So can get some juicy wep/spell dmg numbers with all of them buffs up. :)

Also, having Infused trait is flexible imo for PVP, can put like 1 Recovery glyph on one of them if needs more sustain. Infused Recovery Glyphs are sweet at PVP if the build/gear itself brings in the damage already.
