Major QOL request for Antiquities: Lead list.

There are times or characters on which I receive leads, which I can't/don't want to do just yet. When as a player I receive multiple leads, for different zones, I lose track of where I have what leads. The only way to find them again is to zone to every zone, and check the "Scryable" for that zone. There seems to be no other way to check where we have which leads.

Could we in the antiquities-window please get a list page of ALL discovered leads above green, and see which zones they are in?

Thank you!

I think this would be a great addition to the system. The current filter in place shows you things you have already collected if they are a fragment of an antiquity. Like the pet. I have like 4 pieces collected on it and it stills shows up in every zone that has a piece buried in it, even if I don't have a lead for that piece. Really annoying.

Ah yeah, forgot to add this. As in alot of zones it is also very unclear if you have leads for something or not. So a list with all discovered leads and their zone-locations would help for that as well.

Don't like using add-ons, and it should be a basic feature to see what leads we have and for where. Atleast in my opinion. Thanks though!

The fact that this does not exist is just one more piece of evidence that ZOS releases things unfinished. This is gamebreaking IMO, and I really dont care about leads all that much other than mythics.

Of course there is an addon. Thankfully, but as usual, ZOS is relying on other people to make their game playable.

Well, Greymoor is unfinished and unpolished. Hopefully it is because of covid and won't be a standard practice in the future. (But I don't get why almost nothing was fixed by first, long overdue, patch)

As for addons - those who play on consoles don't have addons

im using the addon on pc and for people who -like me are into antiquities and leads its an awesome feature

in ps4 its just a nightmare, must go through all areas-usually start from top left (Rivenspire) and finish after 1 hour
leaving the dlc areas for last-Southern Elsweyr is the worst place for dig btw

well, it seems like you didn't read the OP properly.
OP requests functionally to show which leads they currently have

you use the addon to show which leads you currently have.

The OP's idea is very good. Leads can't always be followed up straightaway and it is a pain trying to locate their area later.

Do you really have to go to every zone? I just clicked on the list of zones in the scrying menu and looked at that "have lead" part before I got the addon.

yea. once you actually start collecting leads it is apparent that a master list is needed. just one of those things that is overlooked by the the devs, but really obvious in practice.

reminds me of the 20/24 hour cooldown on witches festival skulls and having to write down what time I got each skull type. they tested it once and didnt come back for day 2 or 3.

Yes, you actually have to go to every zone. In many zones it displays certain items for which we do not have leads. Which can only be seen when we go to the specific zone, and then "Scryable". Jaws343 describes it better in his reply.

Yeah, I realized that after I tried it in game. There really should be a better lead overview in the default UI.

If you mean actually travel to the zone by wayshrine or whatever, then nope, you don't.

Just bring up your map, go to whatever zone you are wondering about, and go to the options. On PS4 it's the triangle, not sure about PC and Xbox. Up top there's a row of options, usually starting at Quests. You cycle back and forth with L1 / R1 on PS4.

The far right tab is Antiquities, and it will show you whatever leads you have discovered but not scryed yet for that zone.
Not as convenient as a master list of leads you've discovered, but certainly quicker than wayshrining and bringing up the scryables tab.

There are a gazillion of sources available on the internet. I fail to understand the need for an ingame list to be honest. After all, this is a roleplaying game. The developers are introducing a number of secret "treasures" and are then supposed to give you a list with detailed information on what exactly you need to do in order to get them? Isn't searching gathering and sharing information between players kind of the idea behind a concept like this? Isn't that part of the excitement?

I don't either and I refused to do so in WoW and GW2, even though I raided in WoW and did WvW in GW2.

However, certain aspects of this game are utterly unplayable, or damn near unplayable, without them.

Still don't use combat addons here, but I had to relent and use other ones.

The only alternative would have been just leaving the game entirely.

    No, you have misunderstood.

It's a list of the active leads you already have and their location, that is missing; not just a list of all leads you can, potentially, find and where.

The specific issue is that, without addons, or your own written list you have to stop and add to every time you get a lead (whatever else you may be doing, at the time), you currently have to travel to every single zone, one at a time, to find which active leads you currently have and where.

    That is, obviously, totally ridiculous.

Edit: Just realised that you can bring up the map and see them on there (thought that feature was from another antiquities addon), but it's still pretty time consuming to have to click on every single location, one by one and then click on "antiquities", for all of them, to search for active leads.

On PC, there's a legend menu on the right of the map with the Antiquities tab. You can leave it on the tab and click through each zone map and it will show what you can currently scry. Thanks for this! I wish I had known it before I ported to every zone to check and see if I had unrealized leads. (I did - three purple and one gold.)

There's also for PC an addon called Display Leads. Which gives access to the command /displayleads That opens up a menu of the leads and you can change the drop down menu to what you can currently scry (ie the leads you found for all zones).
