Any announcements from Bethesda?

When E3 is canceled this year, I just want to know if Bethesda is planning any shows. In particular, of course, the announcements of subsequent DLCs for ESO are of interest.

I would not be surprised if Bethesda has some announcements there.

Bethesda is an affiliate of Zos with both companies owned by Zenimax. In the past few years there have been multiple Bethesda productions that had time ESO as well as Fallout, Doom,m, and others.

There has always been some sort of ESO mini-announcement at Quakecon.

When they have conventions typically out of all the companies Zenimax Media Inc owns Bethesda is the one that is promoted heavily because it is the most known by gamers. But during the presentation, you will see the other companies pitch new things like Id Software, ZOS, Arkane, etc.

We do not know how the announcement will happen with all that is going on. It is common when a big event is happening that it is a Bethesda event and time is allotted for each specific game produce under the Zenimax umbrella that has something to say. When there is not a big event Zos will do their own show.

Also, Zenimax does not put on these events directly. The announcement will come from either a Zos event and be specific to ESO or Bethesda will do a big production. Some of the Bethesda shows can be very elaborate.

Zenimax Media opperate a 'cat food branding' where "Bethesda" is the oldest and most well known 'brand'/studio, with the whole group being parts of some events, while being disowned atr others.

    Bethesda is Zenimax.
Bethesda started Zenimax Media in 1999, before they released TES3, to over see the corporate aspects of the company. It has since become Bethesda Softworks, Bethesda Game Studios, Zenimax Online Studios.
Here are the games Bethesda owns or has developed.
    Wayne Gretzky Hockey (1988–1992)
    Terminator series (1990–1992)
    The Elder Scrolls series (1994–present)
    The Terminator: Future Shock (1995)
    Skynet (video game) (1996)
    Symbiocom (1998)
    Zero Critical (1998)
    IHRA Drag Racing series (2000–2004)
Pirates of the Caribbean series (2003–2006)
Call of Cthulhu: Dark Corners of the Earth (2005)
    Star Trek series (2006)
    Fallout series (2008–present)[a]
    Wet (2009)
    Rogue Warrior (2009)
    Rage (2010–2019)
    Brink (2011)
    Hunted: The Demon's Forge (2011)
    Dishonored series (2012–2017)
    Doom series (2012–present)
    Wolfenstein series (2014–present)
    The Evil Within series (2014–2017)
    Prey (2017)
    Deathloop (2020)
    Ghostwire: Tokyo (2021)
They will announce lots of game updates including ESO.

So I hope that helps with the Bethesda / ESO family and why they will plug ESO at QuakeCon.
    Huzzah!!

All of the ESO Live streams happen on Bethesda's Twitch channel.

Why *wouldn't* they also make ESO announcements at gaming convention events?

People always get confused between Bethesda Softworks, the publisher, and Bethesda Game Studios, the developers of TES I-V, Fallout 3/4/76, Starfield, etc.

    Zenimax Media owns
    - Bethesda Softworks, who publishes games from
    - - Bethesda Game Studios
    - - Zenimax Online Studios
    - - id, Arkane, Machinegames, etc.

Bethesda is kind of the brand for the whole of Zenimax' stuff as well as Todd Howard's studio in particular, so I get the confusion.

As to the OP, 2 days ago the ESO twitter account asked for predictions for the rest of ESO's content this year, so it seems they are ramping up to an announcement.

Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.
