[FIXED] Ground textures getting "blurry"?

So, after the last maintenance patch I've had some interesting and rather annoying "problems" with my textures.
Whenever I look horizontally, in first person and in third person, the ground seems to get blurry in the distance. Had it been far away I'd get it, but it is relatively close and it looks very unrealistic. Before this occurred, I had HD textures for much longer than now. My settings is on max - anyone else experiencing this? And is there a way as to how I can tweak this? I think I made some tweaks in UserSettings a long time ago, but now it has reset and I don't remember how to "fix it".

I have tried to mark where. Again; had it been further away, sure, that makes sense, but on my screen it's only a few meters away and it looks weird and like low quality.

Make sure your video drivers are up to date. This is most common with older cards in newer zones but even with Greymoor happens with new cards. I dont think its anything to do with the users video card directly but more something on ZOS end that shows more often on outdated and older cards.

You can also try lowering your graphics settings.

Card already updated, and so far I have experienced this in base game zones and "newer" ones as well. Apparently, since this is a common thing, there is a proper solution to this, other than the things you have already mentioned.

Lowering the graphics settings is a bit like frosting a defrosted chicken, as I don't see how lowering settings will improve it, but I can certainly try.

This is a 'bug' which has been "fixed" almost as many times as there have been baby patches, only to reappear very soon after (or almost every Jesters Festival)

I went to the NVIDIA settings and I changed one setting that somehow "reset" after the last patch. Apparently that fixed it (it was a a sampling option that was turned off, don't know why but it is fixed anyways)
