Crown Crate Khajiit Stalker

So the Khajiit from the crown crates window keeps showing up after a loading screen ends. He also pops up when I open my menu. Doesnt move or say anything, he just sits there. I can get rid of him by opening and closing the crown crates window but then he shows up again after a loading screen. Is this happening to anyone else?

Are you using Lazy Writ Crafter with the pet hiding option enabled?

One of the crafting addons (Lazy Writ Crafter maybe?) added Pacrooti to hide pets. I thought it was off by default though.... Anyway, check the settings on Dolugubon's if you use it.

I changed the hide pet setting to "hide upon quest pickup" or something like that and that got rid of the cat. Thank you @heaven13 and @Sylvermynx

I'd be wary of any mod that replaces in-game graphics with something else, personally, if only to stay out of trouble. This is for quality of life purposes but you can see the exploit potential, particularly in a PVP environment.

But I understand lazy writ crafter is popular so Im guessing ZOS is cool with it
