weird connection issues tonight

now, I'm used to every so often having bad connection issues, but tonight is unexpected. a) it's not a time of major patching, b) I'm in alinor (all of my characters do their crafts there), and only doing crafting. I have, tonight, had 5 full 'silent disconnects' as well as one that managed to reconnect before it fully removed me....this is unusual, to say the least. it's not even technically the weekend (though, with it being a holiday weekend, it might seemingly start early). I can say that nothing else that my husband and I are doing has disconnected during this time (and all but the partial and the first of the full silent disconnects have happened within the past hour and a half). This makes it more than a little strange, because I usually don't get this, and, more so, I don't get this otherwise without there being a slew of messages on here about it. So, what's up?

It sounds like a network issue somewhere between you and the server. If it was at your end it would affect other things, if it was at the server end you wouldn't be the only one reporting it. Has it since resolved itself? If not, try a traceroute to the server and have a chat with your ISP.

The server is a mess today. Even worse than previous days. I get lag even when fighting NPC's in delves for the AP bonus effect (blessings of war). Also got lag in dungeons while I was doing daily pledges. And lot's of people in group both Cyro and PVE got disconnected.

Nothing wrong with your internet. It's the ESO server.

Same thing's happening on my end. I keep getting extreme lag spikes out of nowhere that usually end with me getting booted to the login screen. It's not the usual lag where things gradually get worse, it's the game running smoothly one second and freezing the next.

It's already crashed me out of a battleground three times today.

Got also strange random disconnects, else i had never disconnects and its not my isp - all else (chats, discord works fine).
