Valkyn Skoria set bugged?

Valkyn doesn't seem to be proccing from poisons or status effects for me. Has anyone else noticed this?

Yes it’s pretty useless now they stopped it proving from’other sources
I run a stam dot build and can have 8 plus dots on target and it still won’t proc enough for it to be worth running
It seriously only procs every 30 secs minimum gg zos

I use it on magplar.
It proc pretty consistent. I use wall if element, jab.

It is only proccing from magicka DoTs now.

I remember testing it some time ago on my bow NB and it did proc from poison DoT.

Did they change anything in the latest patches?

I stopped using it on my Magplar when it stopped proccing with jabs and atm it is still sitting in my bank.

I have tried it on a few of my other characters and not been overwhelmed by it tbh.

Magplar now uses Grothdar which I love!! 😀

I switch valk to grothdar on my mDK it just feels more consistent.

Yeah I noticed too since last patch it isnt proccing very often - must be a bug

I’m pretty sure it changed when they made sweep only affected by direct dmg in the constellation. Sweeps will proc Nerien’eth, though.

Skoria needs to go back to what it was before greymoor patch, its proc was more useful because it proc’d on any damage really

They didn't change anything aside from the one-piece bonus and splash damage though, did they?

I guess I'm the only one who likes it more now? I use it almost exclusively on my magwarden and have been able to move some CP around to account for the extra pen it provides. I've not noticed it proccing and less frequently than before either, though I do keep up Unstable Wall as close to 100% of the time as I can for my Maelstrom staff, so maybe that's why nothing has changed. Still, I don't see anything in the patch notes indicating that the proc condition has changed.

Nerien'eth is a lot of fun on my magplar this patch
