Xbox NA-Looking for boost trade in Cyro

If you know of or would like to participate in a boosted trade AP system in Cyro lets get this started! Apparently it is not against TOS, and ZoS is absolutely fine with it as it is not a bug and is just apart of the game, therefor without further options...Lets all join in the fun especially in this Midyear time!!!!!


I am on EP, if you are on another faction on Xbox NA, and would like to boost resources, or we can get enough of a player base to boost keeps, or just want to boost up in IC ... Lets hear your thoughts below

Makes no sense how we have had like 5 threads about this, and Zos still hasnt come out and said

"Yes its totally fine, or no please record these players and use the in-game report system"

So in other words, Zos please take 5 mins and give us the word on this

I haven't seen any statements like that. Seems inferred if anything. But this post seemed more like a way to force their hand (i.e. making a statement to pick a side on the matter) which is why I thought it'd be locked. I was wrong!

@Donny_Vito They just need to say yes or no, and stop hiding from this. This is all you can find for close to an answer, but it does not specify if they consider AP Boosting an abuse of game system (such as the scoring or award system)

WHICH you would think it would since it literally affects the scoring, and award system.. lol

It is a thread to force their hand on a decision and not hide behind just doing nothing...but apparently they truly just will do nothing lol It truly is and should be against ToS but if it really is ok for them to let some things go but drop the hammer on other *** like omg the crown store isnt working today?!?!?! Then I say we take advantage of it and the system since they could care less about the system that they choose to not regulate.

@azjuwelz While we wait, I see that you have a PvP Necro Healer, any interest in joining a guild? We have been looking for more healers to play in our comp group. We normally group on Sat, Sun. During the week we have a few groups running around just having a good time. (or working on builds for Sat-Sun) We play in Gray Host. (Im also assuming you are EP lol)

During this event though we have been chilling in Mala getting tons of AP every day.

@DTAmoral I'm the Pvp lead in a 3-guild family so I'm full on guilds, lol. Still leveling my necro gal (loving the vampire updates), but I'd be down for more EP grouping since our pvp group is small and newer. Your guild have a Discord or Band I can join? GT is Juwelz9.

And my necro's lvl 45, so shouldn't be long. She still kicks ass in cp.

I don't see your argument. People have been buying off the bots for years, and Zenimax does nothing about it, nor have they done anything about the bots in general. This completely abuses the game economics which allows a player to progress in every aspect of the game. People set up alt accounts to auto fish regularly listing stacks of perfect roe each week. No response from zenimax. People list 40 chromium plating daily on alt accounts, no response from zenimax. People list an endless supply of gold mats on alts that have not even gotten 5 gamer score in the game. If zenimax wanted to trace the materials or gold, they could do so easily and find the actual account being every alt account... however once again, no response from Zenimax. If they cannot care to enforce the TOS in a fair and just manner in one area, why would enforcing it in ap farming be expected?

Ap farming is not new, people have been doing It since the beginning, same as with the bots and every other exploit in the game. The only difference is that zenimax did nothing about it for the past 6 years, and have thus reinforced the idea that it is ok to do it, leading to exponential increase in people willing to break the TOS. IF someone breaks into a museum and the police do nothing about it, make no announcement condemning the actions, and make no pledge to prevent it form happening again... the only thing it will do is create more art thieves.

This is just a question, because both sides of this are just interpreting what they think is right or wrong.

In Zos' eyes are people that boost AP abusing the system? That is what needs to be answered, by them.

The simple answer is yes they are. It wasn't the intended path to get ap. Same way killing the pigs wasn't the intended path to get an unlimited supply of dreugh wax. Zenimax took months to shut it down. In a game where the developers are not proactive in stopping an exploit as soon as it is found and reported will only lead to people not reporting. If a player reports a bot and the bot is there the next day, week, or even a month later, why would they waste more of their time to report other bots.

Negligence is the simplest prompting factor in further TOS violations. When a new player joins the game and says, "How do you have so much ap, gold or materials" and the person responds "Oh just join this farm, or just use a botted controller". After that the new player asks "isn't that cheating and against the TOS", the response is "well I really don't know because everyone else does it, zenimax has not said anything about it, and I have been doing it for the past 5 years",... the only logical response from the new player will be, "cool how does it work?"

The only real question is, "Is it really so important to boast higher profits and a larger player count ... that the company is willing to sacrifice the integrity of the system, and the gameplay of every other individual?
