Keep losing connection when changing zones

Ever since the event update a few days ago I've been getting random disconnects when changing zones, I'd say 30% of the time. It's always the same message "Unable to connect to game server, make sure you have a valid internet connection". My connection is fine, it's only ESO that's crashing.

I've been playing the game every single day for the past month and this only started happening now. Is there any fix?

Same. Very annoying — I’ve been getting disconnected multiple times per day ever since the event started. In my case it’s not just when I’m changing zones – it seems to be quite random. Almost always in Cyrodiil or Imperial city. Same error message, too. I did a repair on the game files, but that didn’t fix the problem. I’ve tried the old “turn off the computer and restart“ routine, but that did no good either. And I’m not having problems with any other programs.
