Just finishing up the Morrowind DLC and found the music there some of the best I've heard in any mmorpg.

It's good, but have you heard the REAL Morrowind soundtrack? It's incredible. I haven't played any other MMOs, so I don't know what the music typically sounds like, but I'm kind of the opposite, coming into the game as an Elder Scrolls fan.... ESO's music is good and all, but generally pales in comparison to the original TES single player installments.

I say "generally" because the Ascadian Idylle track from the ESO Morrowind soundtrack and The Brass Fortress theme from Clockwork City are two of my favorite video game tracks :)

Shakes not its top for any blast that blows!”

No. Morrowind was probably the only Elder Scrolls game I never got into despite playing Oblivion and Skyrim right through. Been nice to explore it here at least. One of the best DLC along with Summerset and Orsinium imo.

Agreed, the music of both Eso Morrowind and the original is absolutely transcendent. I've not been disappointed with the music of any of the chapters save bits of the Greymoor soundtrack.

Some of the TES3 soundtrack is in TES5 (at least the Solstheim DLC) and ESO.
Taking stealth away from the Bosmer is like taking magic away from the Altmer, making Nords allergic to mead, or making Orcs pretty.

Still nearly makes me freeze in my tracks when I hear those notes. It’s kind of ingrained in me now, in the same manner as some of those melancholy tracks from TES5 Skyrim when out farming the edges of the snowy map solo. <3

Once I was watching PBS and there was a Celtic music show on-- Celtic Woman, I think-- and at one point I'm pretty sure they were playing Nerevar Rising. B)

I just found that a few weeks ago! Gave me chills. Skywind is going to be awesome.
