Best Stam night blade dps setup? (Struggling to get good dps)

So currently using relequen 5 piece (all purple and tooth of Lokkestiiz 5 piece axe, dagger and all jewelry (all purple)

I am a night blade Redguard this helps. All armor traits are divine with Stam enchant. Axe is nirn with poison enchant. Dagger is sharpened with absorb Stam enchant. Jewelry are all blood thirsty with weapon damage enchants

When googling this seems to be the best setups for dps for crit damage ect... but still doesn’t seem To do enough damage. My friend who is a mage dps makes a lot more damage just with gear with him having these new gloves which give him an extra 30k dps.

I will be making everything gold gear once I feel I have the right sets for the best dps

How much is 'not enough'?

Might help if you post a parse. Or something else to go on. Which dummy are you using?

You're simply not going to hit the numbers that players are on mag dps using stranglers. It won't even be close.

That said, in general it is true, those gloves inflate dps stupidly. But the question is how viable they are in actual content. Naturally there is room for them, but they're not instant uber-dps god mode. They require skill and knowledge of mechanics to use correctly, and not everyone has the apm () and survivability to make proper use of them. So the actual application of the friend's damage may not be real world anyway; hence me asking exactly how high the bar is that OP is aiming for.

Let me see if I am able to help a bit ...

First thing is, there is sadly in some way a difference between some magi and stam class builds regarding the dmg. Thank ZOS for this .

Regarding what you wrote. As far as I can tell you're using a setup which is also recommended by some Guide & Build writers like e.g. Alcast (Here). This would be one of the new 5 - 5 - 1 - 1 setups without any Monstersets.

The thing with that setup is, it is recommended for *Group Play* as in Trials & Dungeons. So, as far as I can say if you don't do as much damage as you like the first thing I would ask you would be: What playstyle do you have, do you play more often group content or solo content? Depending on your answer the answer to the question what equipment you should be using may differ .

The reason why the answer may differ lies within the set-bonuses provided by the sets. If you take a closer look at those two sets you'll see that the Lokke-Set 5-piece bonus needs the use of synenergies, which makes this set a prefered one for group content/play. The Relequen-Set on the other hand has a 5-piece bonus which applies to single tarrgets only and therefore is better used for single target (e.g. boss) fights and solo stuff. So, if you for example go into the wilderness and do solo-stuff the Lokke-Set 5-bonus won't do you any good. The same goes for the Relequen-Set 5-bonus if you fight against groups of enemies instead of a single one (certainly you can focus them down one by one and keep the stack that way up, but that will take for ever ).

The combination of those two sets is a BiS-combination but only for a certain playstyle and only if you use the right skillsetup and rotation. If you don't you will miss quite some DPS/Damage .

I myself am using a 5 - 5 - 2 (2x 5 piece set + monster set) combination with Vicious Serpent + Twice-Fanged Serpent + Selene. Sure, its not BiS but its good enough for my own playstyle .
