How do I get Twitch drops?

I've been watching a stream with Twitch drops enabled for more than an hour (NirnStorm's stream) but didn't get anything. I got my Twitch account linked to ESO account.

Anyone knows when and how we get these drops?

ESO's post on Discord also says I need to watch the stream for more than 5 minutes, which I definitely did.

AFAIK drop is not guaranteed unless stated otherwise (like for ESO Live, for exampe)

    Thanks.

Their post on official eso discord is misleading in that case, because it says you'll get a drop after 5 minutes, not a chance of getting a drop.

Drops don't get handed out until later, so you should get an email saying you've redeemed a code on your account by around 10 AM EDT of the next day, or sometimes by midnight EDT.

Note that your Twitch "presence" needs to be set to "online" and "share my activity," your Twitch account needs to be linked to your ESO account, and you can't have the stream's audio muted while you're watching.

Thanks for info :-). I wasn't online and didn't share my activity.

Yea, I usually get an email late at night or early morning USA time.

Since linking my account late last year when drops became available for console, I have received at least one per day they are made available - and usually get the message just after 1000EST the following day.

I can very easily be wrong but I think we are capped at one crate per day from watching streamers. Bethesda/ESO event drops may be in addition to steamer drops. However, it is so rare I deal with both I cannot say for sure.

I think it is “supposed” to be capped at one per day - but I can confirm I have indeed received more than one on a couple of occasions (with emails to prove it as such) - and, yes - this is in addition to those “special” times when, for instance, Gina adds a surprise extra drop during Bethesda At Home streams, etc.

    But... shhhhhh! ;)

What you could do is just have twitch drop stream playing in the background with stream volume set to zero. That that you can play the game without really watching the twitch stream.

I can confirm the last 5 times I've watched for 30+ minutes that I recieved no drops the next day.

So most of the time I don't bother. If ZOS can't even be decent with their gems I don't owe them my time.

    The system isn't working.

Last time I got two twitch drop crate emails on a weekend and I NEVER watched a single ESO stream. I was watching Mystery Science Theater 3000 all weekend. Not one ESO thing.

Yeah, didn't get for yesterday. Was watching streams couple of times for more than 30 minutes, although they said 5 minutes is needed.

Oh well, was kind of interested what's in those crates, but not that much to watch the streams today again :-)
