Maintenance for the week of December 22:
• NA megaservers for maintenance – December 22, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 8:00AM EST (13:00 UTC)
• EU megaservers for maintenance – December 22, 4:00AM EST (9:00 UTC) - 8:00AM EST (13:00 UTC)

Why suddenly make event outfit style pages untradeable?

Cannot help wonder what prompted this change. Every previous event for years, the style pages that dropped were tradeable.

Is this because we are intended to have to spend real money on crowns to get tickets moving forward? I don't think you can get enough to get all the style pages and the Indrik just from daily questing, but if the pages can't be traded, the only way to get them will be to spend money and buy tickets.

I feel this sort of takes the "fun" out of an event if the reward is requiring us to spend real money for the reward.

Just ignore the event - if it doesn't bring in money they will change it back.

Did left over pages change to bound? Or was there an announcement about this that I missed?

Pages bought from the Impresaria for event tickets were always bound. Did ZOS change the dropped style pages also ?

The Event Ticket timer resets at 1:00AM EDT each morning. Note that if you earn new Event Tickets over the 12-limit cap, you’ll lose them. Good thing there’s plenty of things to spend them on at Impresario vendor during the event:

Second Legion Outfit Style pages (can’t be traded)
Zero Legion Outfit Style pages (can’t be traded)

They're not tradeable? O.o Could it be a bug?

If not, it's just one *more* reason why I'll be skipping this event... >.>

It explicitly says that the outfit style pages you find are traceable. What not tradable are the ones you buy for event tickets, just like in all previous events.
NEW Second Legion Outfit Style Pages

Wear the classically Imperial raiment of the Imperial City’s Second Legion with new tradeable Outfit Style pages, dropped by bosses within the Imperial City, including those found in the city itself and the sewers.

    Legion Zero Outfit Style Pages

You can also earn tradeable Outfit Style pages for the Legion Zero’s armor, also dropped from bosses in the Imperial City and Imperial City sewers.
...there’s plenty of things to spend them on at Impresario vendor during the event:

This is incorrect. These two styles ARE the outfit styles that drop randomly. In the past these were available to trade. Now they are not.

Also, as in the past, the outfit styles for sale for tickets are the same ones that drop. They did it that way so you could buy the ones you didn't get lucky enough to get as drops, or buy with gold.

The only difference this time is the ONLY way to get them is to buy them with tickets. However since there are not enough tickets to get them all and the Indrik...

    Hence my question and concern.

Stop spreading misinformation and just read the announcement: https://www.elderscrollsonline.com/en-us/news/post/58421

Why are you leaping to the conclusion that I am doing something malicious and intentionally spreading disinformation?

If you scroll up you can see I quoted the same article that clearly states (in parenthesis): "CANNOT be traded."

So, if anything there is a need for clarification here from ZOS, because the article says both of these new outfit styles are both tradeable AND not tradeable.

    @ZOS_GinaBruno

Can we get some clarification of which quote is actually correct so people don't think I am an evil mustache twirler plotting to take over the internet? :p

If you scroll up you can see I quoted the same article that clearly states (in parenthesis): "CANNOT be traded."

And here is the full quote from that article:
    Earn Event Tickets

During the Midyear Mayhem event, you can earn up to four Event Tickets per day by completing two different PvP activities:

Two tickets for completing any Cyrodiil or Battlegrounds daily quest
Two tickets for completing any Imperial City district daily quests

The Event Ticket timer resets at 1:00AM EDT each morning. Note that if you earn new Event Tickets over the 12-limit cap, you’ll lose them. Good thing there’s plenty of things to spend them on at Impresario vendor during the event:

Second Legion Outfit Style pages (can’t be traded)
Zero Legion Outfit Style pages (can’t be traded)
    Standard-Bearer Emotes
    Group Repair Kits
Icebreath Berries (including Bloom, Budding, Growth, and Ripeness)
    Indrik Feathers
    Rimedusk Indrik pet

Only the ones from the Impresario can't be traded. This has always been the case.

Wait, so is what you are saying that if you get either of these styles from drops, you can trade them with other players, but if you buy those same styles from the NPC, those can't be traded, but they are the same style, so you CAN buy them with gold?

If that is indeed the case I guess I am satisfied, if not a little confused still. :p

This was quoted above, so I am not sure why you are confused.

That is the case and it has always been like that with all the outfit style pages.

It's been like that for every event.

The style pages which drop from overland mobs are tradeable and sellable (but unfortunately not stackable or bankable). But if you buy them from the Impresario, they're bound on pickup. Ostensibly to prevent people from converting tickets -> gold.

    • Style Pages earned from drops are tradeable
    • Style Pages purchased with Event Tickets are bound

Thanks, sorry if I come off as clueless. :p

I sadly HAVE done many events in the past. I honestly just never put together that the style pages you buy from the Impressario weren't tradeable. My brain just said "they are both the same style therefor same thing" and assumed.

The style pages are tradeables, but they have made fragments for collectibles earned through events bound, for examples, the fragments for the Princess pet in the Jester's fest, etc.
