A question for Kolache about creating imperial female character appearance

Hi Everyone, I am a new player who just fell in love with eso since last Thursday. I have been playing a Breton for a few days until I see a post that Kolache posted about his Imperial character. Fell in love again and I bought ESO plus and also bought imperial edition, so that I can try creating that. Unfortunately after several tries, it’s just impossible for someone like me to do it.
I know the last post Kolache did was a year ago, not sure if he is still playing but I have just got to try. I asked for a forum invite, and only realised that I can’t private message him as a new member. Sorry about this message and I hope I am not breaking rules. Could someone perhaps help me get in touch with him?

I used default (no) personality there.

If @Kolache has an appearance or race change token (or PTS installed with the right server on rotation), screenshooting the sliders is possible. (No need to actually use the token, just click BACK after taking the screenshots)

Would be awesome is ZOS implemented an appearance code for characters to be shared (like in Mass Effect).

@jaygao79 is the imperial in question the one from this post? If is, the hair in the first image is one from crown store (not available during character creation) that you can buy and use by activating it in you Collections.

Style Parlor > Hair Styles > Covenant War-Locks (400 crowns)

For me the best way to make good characters is fine tuning their appearance with change appearance token. It its costly in Live server, so I use PTS (you have almost infinite crowns on test server) to create and test the appearance in different lightings. If i need to change something, I buy lots of appearance change on PTS, then tweak the appearance (by clicking on the token on the bottom of the screen). When I'm satisfied after some test, I go to the appearance change again and take some screenshots (usually 6 to get all the slides from body/face).
In Live server character creation, I Alt+Tab to look at the sliders position on the screenshots, or send the images to my phone and zoom on the sliders.

Unfortunately to use the PTS it will require an extra installation of the game, that means you use more hard drive space and have to wait for another download/installation. The main game (live) installation won't be touched. PTS installation can be accessed in the same launcher.

Yeah I only started to play on stadia, so my work notebook is not going to be able to hold in one piece if I install the actual game if Kolache no longer plays, I will go and beg keylun and see if he could recreate it. I will put copyright in the name of my character for both of them lol. See how much research I have done

It does, is the same notion I got from that image. I have to tweak it not until I get closer to that cuteness & innocence.

Well, I usually use some inspirations to create characters, like famous people, family members, characters from other medias and etc.. And I was having a Skyrim guard's feeling of "I know you!" with Kolache's imperial. At least for me, she resembles a lot like Ana de Armas. I'll try to aim at her likeness and see where it lands.

Yeah that does look a lot like her! I had a go myself at the picture 3 of Kolache’s, the link you sent, I think I got quite close but not much further. It’s pretty enough for that one lol, I will lost it later, not sure how to do it on my phone

Finished my Ana de Armas version of Kolache's imperial.


I thinks is close enough, but not identical. There are also other factors that can influentiate in a screenshot like Kolache's, like personality equipped, video settings and etc.

One thing to keep in mind that some players don't realize is to adjust the triangle at the top of the screen in addition to the finer controls throughout. One is not a generic version of the other. You can leave all your fine settings the same, but move the spot in the triangle and completely change the look of a character by a large degree. If you are trying to make characters that do not look as harsh (especially on elves) then take the triangle to the 'softer' corner and then make your adjustments from there. You can obviously stop at various spots in the triangle as well if you want a little in between.

But I've run into some folks that seem to think the triangle is just a quick change way to achieve what the finer controls can do for players that don't want to be in character creation long. Which it can be I suppose, but it's actually two different ways to change appearance and both can have a big effect on the look you are going for.

Thank you and yes it does give people that impression! I have found that my favourites are all on the soft end. I didn’t realise that you can equip personality to the character and I think that’s probably what Kolache did with them. I have managed to create 2 that I think I am happy enough with. Thank you @Highlor3 , I will put them here once I figure out how to take a close up on stadia!

I think I found out that the Hawaii girl is using the Thief personality!

@Highlor3 hi there, it felt like years! My first char finally got to cp60 and here it is I went with that Hawaii looking girl instead and got quite close. Well she is good enough I think. Really enjoying the game!

Really? Didn’t think of that. I though somewhere in the comment he or someone else said it was imperial.

According to him, she's an imperial, as he posted on "How to make an attractive female imperial face?".
