Onehand Weapons on the back - Would be amazing!

We can see 2 hand weapons on the back of our char, but dual wield is always on waist.

But the game already put both 1 hand weapons on the back when we cast a non-instant skill and already exist the animation to pull both weapons from the back

So why not use this way for 2 swords/axes/maces by default???
With a dagger + dagger/axe/mace/sword keep on waist.

I would love this possibility S2

Weapons on the back sometimes float, clip with armor, and clip with outfits that have backpacks, so I like how it is now

I do wish they changed how casting skills with weapons equipped worked, because it looks weird having your weapons teleport on and off your back IMO

But we already have this issue with bow, staff and 2h weapons.

It clips through the oversized hip pads already. I see no difference.

Not to mention daggers (and some of the smaller swords) would just look abysmally stupid on the back.... just like they do in TES: V Skyrim with a particular mod.

Why are players always obsessed with swords on the back? It isnt anywhere near practical, and there is little found evidence that it was EVER done in all of earth's history.

It isnt impossible. But it is extremely hard to draw a sword from the back. Damn sword art online to oblivion...

The Vestige never uses a scabbard, so that defeats the hard to draw sword problem.

There is evidence that items (not just weapons) were sometimes carried on the back during a march. That said, if it was going to be a thing in ESO it should probably be a toggle due to individual preferences.

I would prefer if nothing was on the back. It's beyond reasonably possible, and I am personally sick of the magically magnetic weapons sticking to my back.

What would be really special is if they somehow figured out how to let us have bandoleers, sheathes, and scabbards.

No I’d like it kept on my waist besides you would draw your sword faster from your waist then your back.

At least your weapons don't magically disappear when you cast class skills (like necro). I know it's not the topic of the thread but I wish my characters would never put their weapon down, no matter the skill you cast. I mean why would you put your weapon away during fight?

We could have the option to be a caster without weapons.

Stick it on the store as an option for those that want it, the animations as stated above are already in the game, I'd certainly buy it if I could.

Good point. Put together ZOS taste for money and give the players a option :D
