It's not zos but this who dont update the add ons. Especially with the new chapter. As for the "bad auction house system" I made 1.4mil in 2 hrs with no trade guild. As I'm farming it questing I just drop a random WTS in zone.IGN: Ki'rah

It is never going to change. The system is trash imo. But you can sell stuff thru zone and setup macro to post your /z every few minutes. I use my alt account for this. Saves a ton of time.0 -

✭Which add-on is broken, MM and TTC are still working correctly.
ZOS made changes that slowed the update substantially to minimize performance hit, but you can easily force update MM in your guild sales tab. This isn't necessary unless you don't play for a few days.

They limited the request rate months ago, as in 2019. It’s not a new thing.
Nor does it stop add-ons from working; it just slows down their automatic updates. You can manually “show more” in the sales tab of guild history to get things like MM to catch up faster than they are allowed to on their own.
As for DDoS-ing the server, that change clearly didn’t stop the EU server from failing trader flip yet again the other week. So high automatic query rates might have been contributing to server instability, but there’s a whole lot of other stuff still resting on that camel’s back waiting for the next straw...2 -

They limited the rate due to the strain it put on the server. It was the same as the server being ddosed in a sense due to requesting an update EVERY 3 SECONDS. Multiply that by God knows how many users.IGN: Ki'rah

Nah, the system has turned to snot on xbox as well (no addons). Constant timeouts. How they manage to do a simple db query so poorly baffles me.0 -
burglar✭✭✭✭Their auction house system is the reason the economy is somewhat stable. There's no way for anyone to do something like, run all over tamriel buying all of one item, then selling it at a higher inflated price. The time and distance between guild traders prevents this, and the cost of bidding on guild traders removes massive amounts of gold from the game which prevents inflation - even when people are buying gold. Granted it still happens... but it's much less than other games.
Also, blame the addon creators, not ZOS. Ask them to update their stuff to the new chapter. Talk to them on their git account, or something.Bosmer Melee Magicka Nightblade1 -

people cannot sell in zone chat openly because of that add-on.
and no i am not joking and no i am not using satire.

I'm sorry to disappoint you but... those addons are working just fine.
though I would recommend using ATT over MM as its a much more lightweight addon.
and what this addon does is NOT ruin selling in zone chat. it ruins SCALPING people in chat, because it people to see what the average prices are for a thing you are trying to charge extra gold for, or buying for way too low of a price.dirty worthless casual.
