Perfect Roe

Can someone please share with me some of the best place to catch a perfect row per say. As a crafter I am having no luck

There are no better or worse places to gain Perfect Roe. You gain Perfect Roe randomly while filetting fish. You catch those fish by going fishing at a fishing hole and using the correct type of bait. Fishing holes are everywhere and can be recognized by a splashing animation on the water.

I tend to finish the rares for each zone and can get like 5 or 6 Perfect Roes out of like 600 or 700 fish. Relax fish and pray for the Roe. LOL

I did four Master Anglers last year. Out of all those fish (nope, didn't keep track of actual numbers) I got 103 Perfect Roe. A couple of characters got far better "drop" rates than the others.

As with anything RNG, it's a crapshoot.

The best place it your friendly neighborhood guild trader. I don't know the prices of Perfect Roe now but often it is quicker earning gold other ways and just buying the Perfect Roe.

If you want to fish for them do not use Artaeum Pickled Fish Bowl (unless you want the achievement for trophy fish) and do not fish with other people. You want to catch the white fish for more chances of getting a Perfect Roe and using the food or fishing with others improves chance of trophy fish.

I'll add.... pick areas that are NOT prime fishing spots for antiquity leads. ANY white fish has the ability to drop Perfect Roe.

That is very generous of you.

You could maybe go on a fishing expedition with your guildies (if you want to chase the fishing titles, even better) and have them just mail you the white fish that they catch for you to fillet.

(And if you are on PC, I highly recommend the Votan's Fish Fillet addon)

Sounds like you need to plan a guild fishing event. Come up with some prize and set aside a time for people to fish. Whoever gets the most trophy fish wins and the entry fee is they send you all the white fish they catch.

If you are doing it to make the food for guildies, then I highly recommend that they just buy the food. I didn't keep track of time when doing master angler, but if I remember correctly it took me about 1,5 hour on average of fishing for each perfect roe I got.

have them provide you with their own perfect roe
