Demand for Xbox>Stadia migration

ESO on Stadia is amazing. Problem is, I can't play on Stadia with all my Xbox progress and I REFUSE to pay for the same intellectual content again! Please allow for account migration of console players with Stadia Pro to migrate their accounts.

I second this! For PS4 too. Stadia is amazing. Just did some Alik'r dolmens on my phone while making my grocery shopping list. Mobile is great! No lag, sharp details, easy controls. I love it.

I suppose they could offer a time-limited migration service for, say, $100 per character. I’ve been doing some levelling up on PC characters on Stadia on my laptop in bed and it is nice.

All I know is they promised ESO for Stadia and that you'd be able to cross platforms back when they did the founders promotion. They didn't say anything about console players not being allowed to cross over. So frankly, I feel lied to. I have hundreds invested on my Xbox ESO account, and 2 years worth of progress that I refuse to do over.

Still waiting. Won't spend a dime on ESO on any platform till this happens. Just saying.

Stadia is PC servers, no? So until there's no console to PC migration, there won't be console to Stadia migration. And AFAIK it's technically impossible to migrate accounts between platforms now.

Yes, this seems right. They have said that the migration tool does not currently exist and they have no plans to create it.

Who promised cross platform play on Stadia for console users? I’m genuinely curious, as I hadn’t seen this myself. If you’re talking about the promise of cross-playing PC/Mac accounts on Stadia, that exists, as Stadia is just a way to get into the PC/Mac account (just like Steam). Unfortunately it seems many news sources ran headlines advertising “cross-play” but only qualified that phrase within the articles, but the qualification is there nonetheless.

Like I said, I really don't care at this point about their misleading advertising. I'm not paying the twice for the same intellectual property to play on another platform. I pay Xbox and Stadia to host and Bethesda to develop. Bethesda got their money already from me, and now I want to take my game and content to another hosting service. I should be allowed to without having to pay all over again. It's this anti-consumer *** that will bring an anti-trust reckoning down on Xbox and Playstation if they don't start playing nice.
