Furniture should not be in crates

I know many may disagree but Furniture should not be in crates, i can accecpt (though still dislike) costumes mounts markings ect to be in them as you only need to get them once but Furniture is something that people may wish to use more than once.

Take the newest nord door for example A 100 GEMS for one, and if you want more than one sorry you gotta pay another 100 gems or hope you get one gambling.

If i had my way all crates would go compleatly but i do feel that Furnoture should be removed from them.

Yeah... Crown-exclusive furniture are bad enough, but Crate ones are especially terrible.

I often buy several direct purchase Crown-exclusive furniture (those Redguard fountains and fences are gorgeous) but I'd never buy more than one furnishing from Crown Crates. Even the furnishings that had cost 40 Gems would be really random and costly to get, nevermind the 100 Gem ones!!! :astonished:

So it's quite frustrating to see awesome furniture go into Crates when Crates are very RNG filled with random trash, direct purchasing them for Gems is too damn high, and then they will be removed after 3 months anyway, with no way to get them unless they return the Crate season a year or more later... All three of these reasons make it pretty non-friendly for housing.

Loosely, I prefer if furniture were not in the crown crates yes.

A much harder preference though is that I want them to at least stop making the furniture Legendary. Make it Superior. Or at least epic if it's suitably shiny like the new fountain. I'm not forking out ~$50 to get one damn fountain/picture/whatever.

That might be something a bit more manageable. I find there are WAY too many body markings that could be furnishing slots instead. That's probably just me, but until I can "hide chest", "hide shoulder", etc. I give absolutely no care for body markings.

Yes i really have begun to not care at all over body marking for the same reason, and even if i could hide chests i wouldnt want to on every character so they have become a annoyance that you are stuck with.

I wish nothing was in scam crates, but in a permanent store with permanent prices, so you could have always the whole selection of cosmetic items ever created and released available at every time.

Don't care seriously, it's a scam crates for a reason.

All i want is at least half the rewards should be achieved ingame and have cc appearance just as a shortcut for ones who don't play the game to it's full potential.

Maybe if a few fairly exceptional furnishing items were at the 16 gems price point, that would be OK.

However, the 100 gems price point is just silly.

A door, a tapestry, a mediocre-looking fountain and animated plants, all at 100 gems each, is just ridiculous, frankly.

100 gems works out at some obscene amount of Crowns and even given that a few of those gems might have been obtained for free and/or from ESO+ membership, it's still way too much.

On the whole, I would say remove them all.

As housing people are already the group at greatest risk of being squeezed for cash and these items just take up slots that could, otherwise, have things that non-furnishing people want in them, instead.

    Nothing should be in crates.

But since that's not going to happen and I'm not going to spend money on a chance at getting what I want, I just pretend that anything in a Crown crate doesn't exist.
