Launcher won't patch to game on secondary drive - only wants to reinstall

Hi there

As the title says, I have ESO installed on a new SSD drive. I installed the game there a couple of weeks ago and I've been able to play the game. However, today I tried to patch the game using the launcher and it won't update but wants to install the game. The launcher also lives on the same drive.

How can I get the launcher to recognise the installed game?

Many thanks

Try downloading or moving the ESO launcher to the drive you have ESO installed on. Run the launcher from that drive and see if you now have the option to update.

Hi BillE - sadly the launcher is already there. I'm reinstalling the game again to see if that helps. It's taking a very very long time - 13 hours so far! D: But it's patching now. Will let you know if this fixes things.

    Thanks for responding.

Thank you for the update. Please let us know if completely reinstalling allows the game to fully update.
