Does it possible to get speed more than 266 while mounted?

Is there any kind of a cap on riding speed?

Which of the following, if any, affect riding speed:

• Major Expedition buff?
• Minor Expedition buff?
• Swift trait?
• Ring of the Wild Hunt?
• Steed Mundus?
• Anything else? (Other than Major Gallop, of course.)

I think Major Gallop is the horse version of Major Expedition. I am sure Zos had a reason for separating that but it happened so long ago I do not recall why.

Edit: To be specific, when the game launched, back when we were in the same guild iirc, anything that increased your speed on foot increased it while mounted as long as the buff persisted while mounted. Lightning form yes, Elusive Mist did not. So the change happened after they started creating general buffs which I think was after PC 1.6/2.0

If I can't make it on my two feet, then I don't go there...

Luckily I can predict 4/5 where the battles are headed in PvP.

I usually shout my head off to tell people how many people are coming to whatever place...

I guess I would be a scout...

I thought the mounted speed cap was 230%

i wish there was a stat in game somewhere to show what your speed is out of the max level so we don't waste our time wearing extra stuff to increase our speed if we are already at max.

I think the split between Major Expedition and Major Gallop came when they wanted to nerf the duration of Major Expedition while still allowing Rapid Maneuvers to have a long effect on mount speed.
