Anyone in Australia use Telstra and know how to port forward?

So basically eso kept booting me out when I tried to load up my character. I contacted ESO support & ran their consultant program & the generated report showed that some of the connections between my internet & eso servers were being connected. I was given some info to do that:

Thank you for the report! After looking through it, it looks like there are some drops when your system is trying to connect to our servers. To best access The Elder Scrolls Online, you should configure your routers to open the following outbound ports:

TCP / UDP Ports 24100 through 24131
TCP / UDP Ports 24500 through 24507
TCP / UDP Ports 24300 through 24331
TCP Port 80
TCP Port 433
If you have any questions about the port forwarding process, you should contact your Internet Service Provider for additional assistance.

My ISP (telstra) had a lengthy delay before I'll be able to get any help re port forwarding.
I requested some additional info from the ESO rep & was told it's outside the scope of their job to help me do the port forwarding.

I've found the page for port forwarding on my telstra modem, but am confused over where to put the port ranger (WAN, LAN, both?) and the destination IP.

Figured it seems pretty basic & someone here might know & save me several hours trying to get through to the ISP. I did google it but it didnt answer my questions specifically.
I can post some pictures of the Modem page if anyone is willing/knows how to help.

Not sure if this’ll help but it’s my experience. I originally used my ISP-supplied router and later bought a separate router and put my ISP router into modem mode.

The new separate router does not require internal (LAN) port numbers. All it needs is the PC’s IP address (static, not DHCP), the external (WAN) port numbers, and the protocol (TCP, UDP or both).

The ISP router required all that plus the LAN port numbers, which I set to be the same as the WAN port numbers.

    Both worked.

Google the make and model of your router and the term Port Triggering.

Port Forwarding requires you to have a static IP on your gaming rig and is more complicated to set up.

Port Triggering is easier to set up and manage. And does the same thing in allowing the ports to communicate.

Now, some routers do not allow one or the other so you may have to use Triggering or Forwarding as the case may be.

BTW A Port is simply a sub address on an IP Network.
Enjoy the game, life is what you really want to be worried about.
