Hep with scrying and codes?

Hello you legends,

So I've just got the tool and mission done to scry stuff but I am confused on codex's.

Here is what I mean: https://imgur.com/8fZ0QAT - I want to get that item the wolf but how? I cannot scry it, I have one item but unsure how I got it, so how can I scry or use the tool or get more to unlock this? I pressed the tool and nothing works.. Not sure how to farm these but really would like too.

Anyone explain in simple terms how?

I recommend looking up a video tutorial on YouTube. The game doesn't explain it well.

For this particual one, you need to be in the ZONE where the part of the wolf is located. Once in the zone, assuming you have the lead, you go to "scryable" tab at the top.

Also, for golden leads you need to be at least level 7 scrying and have points spent in the passive (I think it's the second skill on the list)

Yeah I've just seen it but it's a bit confusing. Yeah I've not passed level 1 I think, done the first scry and that was it.. too much time consuming and running around to find them I think.

Found the YouTube, seen you have to camp bosses.. My wife and I said no thanks so all good, thank you anyway

Depends what you want from the system. Levelling up to 7 takes about 5-7 hours. There is a guide for quickly grinding it on Alcasts website. Once you're level 7, you can go find really nice cosmetic items, emotes, PvP siege weapons.
