12 hours I’ve been in Summerset

5 have spawned - that cannot be right

Nah, they're just really rare. I tend to take my time exploring and wandering around in game and they really are that uncommon.

They share the spawning spot with runes. So if people only loot psijic portals and leave the runestones they gradually reduce the possible number of psijic portals.

Find place with a lot of runestones, draw yourself a rout and run from one spot to another collecting runes. Portals will start spawning too. Heard something about 1/4 spawn chanse but cannot say how true that is.

Runes are not popular, from what I can see...

I *think* you can use mods on console... you just have to know someone who has the game on PC... or something like that. I remember reading that somewhere else.

There is a daily quest from Clockwork City that makes it easier to find psijic portals in all zones. The quest is the one from the slag town where you need to collect rune essence from runestones(in CWC), but for some reason the questpoints also show up if there is a psijic portal nearby no matter the zone.

Perhaps this can help you out.

It’s the only node I’ll unabashedly race another player to get (though I’ll never go so low as to snag one from a player fighting a mob to get to it). Not even sure why. The occasional arubic amber or whatever definitely doesn’t rate the glee I feel when I see them, but oh well. Give me those glowy portals of happiness!

i believe they share nodes with ore and not runestones as I have seen portals in spots where I know ore usually is. I have seen bots standing over portals before not being able to grab it. Of coarse I laughed and took it as I reported it. Portals are supposed to appear more often in Summerset but i haven't experienced that. I get plenty in other areas .

the spawnpoint for runestones and psijic portals are shared -> if u only pick up psijik portals no new will spawn cause all locations are ,,lockes" cause there are rune stone -> walk in a circle collect all rune stones and psijik portals and ull have the lead in about 1h

They were not talking about bag space at all. They are talking about completely looting the portals, not partially due to bag space. Others have tried to explain and I am sure I can do not better without going into to much detail.

My first portal had the gold lead in it. Then after I found that lead the second portal I got had the gold lead AGAIN. Freakin lucky that was.

People can claim them before you. Some days you will see multiple in a row, other days, none.

My hypothesis is that they spawn shortly after I walk past the location.

My hotspot for portals used to be Bal Foyen. All the bots and new characters that didn't have Psijic Order unlocked would loot all the runestones but leave the portals because they couldn't see/interact with them. There were times a single trip around the map would yield 5-6 portals.

Now with the motifs and other leads, the zone has become rampant with high-level players and my portals have all went 'poof!'
