The Antiquarian's Art Quest - Excavation not working
Trying to do this quest but when I go to dig up the item for Gabrielle, neither of the tools do anything, they just flash and make noise. I'm on Ps4

✭✭✭I had trouble with this at first. None of the tools on the border of the excavation site have buttons assigned to them until you activate them. I just started pressing random buttons until something happened, There is a lot of explanation text when you hold the touchpad, but it’s very confusing.
First, press the X button and a colored square will appear where the white square on the dirt is located. If it is red, you are very far away from the item, orange a little closer, yellow very close, and green you are on top of the item.
You can only do this as many times as the number next to the symbol with L1 next to it.
If you get any green squares, then press L2 to switch to the brush. Now move the white cursor square marker to the green squares and press the X button to dig. You can dig around the green squares to unearth more of the item even if you don’t have a lot of green squares, as long as time is remaining.
To the devs: Adding button markers to the tools even when not activated would be extremely helpful, and then highlighting the currently selected tool in some other way would make this exercise more easily understood.Khajiit Stamblade main
