PS4 Missing Audio Effects?

After today's update, popping a regular potion (Alliance Battle Draft, for example) from the Quick Slot bar doesn't have an audio effect for me. It used to.

Also since Feb 5th, the audio notification that plays when the Cyrodiil queue is ready for you to enter is gone for me too. That's a bigger deal, since I used to rely on that sound if I was in the kitchen making a sammich while waiting for Cyrodiil. Still get the on-screen notification, just no sound any more - so unless you're staring at the screen, you can miss it.

Anyone else confirm?

Yes, I posted about the lack of audio UI sound for Cyrodiil queue ready check shortly after the last update removed it.

I was hoping it would get fixed this update but I guess no one noticed it.

I suspect that the activity finder audio UI sound is missing as well, but I haven’t queued for group dungeons in a long time so I can’t verify.

Longer list based on experiences last night:

• No audio prompt when Queue Ready dialog displays on screen
• No audio "clunk" sound when first dropping a ballista or trebuchet (PvP)
• No audio confirmation when consuming a consumable (Alliance Battle Potion, Food etc)
• No audio when repairing doors and walls (PvP)
• No audio when resurrecting a player
• No audio "door opening" when going through keep doors (PvP)

Maybe others have more they can add?

I’ll add that non PvP doors as well have no sound when opening.

Some of my daily crafting reward boxes have no sound when opening, will have to pay more attention next time I open to see which ones

EDIT: opening the reward boxes makes no sound, it’s only when you open the green boxes with cloth, metal, or wood has a UI sound

Numerous people on PS4 NA are just losing sound entirely! Mid-raid in vKA, half our team lost sound. I had no sound for 60% of the last boss, and it didn’t come back until I relogged.

It’s just been randomly losing sound or half of sounds since.

@ZOS_GinaBruno Any news here? It's been a while, and all these audio items are still missing....

The queue ready sound is still missing for both Cyrodiil queue and group dungeons and is in desperate need of being put back in. You cannot do anything other than stare at the TV while waiting or you will miss the prompt.

I noticed during the Summerset event than when more than a dozen players were present at a geyser that the sound completely cut out for the whole battle. Sometimes it would come back after the last boss was killed and sometimes it didn’t until I switched zones.

Also please add the never-ending dragon roars in Elsweyr...and elsewhere, lol
