Hide chest piece?

Can we somehow hide the chest piece and show our bare chest? I can't seem to find a way to do it without removing the armor.

Lmao that's not the reason I want to do it. I want to be able to see the skin more clearly, because we have really cool skins to apply but we are not able to see them.

If there's one this I miss from SWTOR, it's their outfit system. Had a commando that I referred to as "the commando commando" as he wore a kilt, headband and some wraps on his feet and hands while wielding an assault cannon. The buff body obviously. He looked glorious

You don't need to hide it, be a man and just remove it, you probably gain skill points faster without chest armor maybe.

The Fang Lair motif is almost topless, but you'll look like you're carrying around a pair of dictionaries on your hips for some inexplicable reason

I wish we had a way to hide all armor, outfits and costumes. For those times when you just really want your character in nothing but underwear to show off their body tattoos.

Nordic Bathers Towel costume will make u almost naked. If you got from New Life festival

Dark Shaman costume also does a good job of showing chest for male characters, if you happen to have that one...

Chest styles that show off skin, ordered by bareness:
- Sai Sahan's
- Mazzatun
- Fang Lair/Fanged Worm light
- Minotaur light & medium
- Elder Argonian
- Bosmer light armor
- Draugr ... if you're into that
- Sunspire medium (one full pec lol)

Crop tops:
- Dead-Water
- Stags of Z'en
- Sea Giant heavy (upcoming)

There are plenty of great sun's-out-guns-out motifs like Anequina or Ra Gada light

Mazzatun & Pyandonean light gloves are very minimal hand gear. The hands are the windows to the skin ... on your hands (Edit: ALERT: a lot of chest styles actually give you gloves secretly, which your glove style just covers)

Lots of outfits. Just wait til Shrike's Nocturnal Frock comes back out (last available for just 3 days in July 2019)

Oh, I love Shrike's Nocturnal Frock! The low-cut V on the chest, and the high slits up the legs are great. My characters all wear it without the hood though. Gotta see character face and hairstyle unobstructed.

As for the lore... well, I already said it. "Invisible Armor". Enchanting your sturdy armor with an invisibility spell, to lure your foe into a false sense of security...
I mean, look at this guy:

...and that is something we -might- actually get someday, in some ways. Maybe not for all slots... I doubt they would want to do it for pants, and they may also feel reluctant to do chests... but still, it could happen for those who want to play as (almost) naked nords or barefoot bretons...

(I personally am more hoping for seeing some other outfit styles become available, like Almalexias or Dark Seducers armor... maybe some anniversary event someday much like the companion pieces?)

Sai Sahan's style would be perfect for my bare chested needs if not for this ugly crotch flap. Also it would be nice to have an option to hide shoulder armor.

Actually id say havig a bear chest is more appropate for eso than a mmo with lasers.

But that being said id rather have the ability to hise sholders first.
