Maelstrom weapons - obtained through normal MA and on PS4?

Just curious if I am reading all the posts correctly, but are Maelstrom weapons obtainable through normal Maelstrom Arena now? And is that live on PS4 now or a wait till Greymoor is available thing? I ran MA 4 times last week and not one dropped. Not a huge issue but was curious so thought I'd see how my luck went. Either my info is incorrect or my RNG sucks.

Thanks in advance. And no interest in the perfected I'd love the challenge of VMA but just gives me a headache when trying it lol.

U need to be tanky in VMA and as well as doing quite some damage if you are ok at the game. If you are a pro you can go a full dps build with a heal and dmg shield and wreck VMA.

You have be at least CP 160 to get the Maelstrom Arena weapons in the final chest.

My new toon is 810 CP Tank DPS hybrid I play solo a lot. Ran it on normal barely even made a dent except for one phase where I didn't know the mechanic. I see where CP does make a difference however.
