Add a small check or other mark to a dungeon in the select list for picking a specific dungeon to tell whether I have completed it already. Ideally this would show if I got the skillpoint from the quest inside, but at least knowing if I have run it before would save needless hassle.

And no, I am not asking for free crowns to answer the funsuckers who are sure to reply that this request is so unreasonable.

I play on the console, so no addon could help.

Yeah, for PC there's addons that track skill points like that. Not sure what there is for console.

Once again, this fits with the idea that really useful addons on the PC should be integrated into the game.

Thanks for noting that. I figured something like it would exist. No code change is trivial, but this should be an easier one I would think and would just be a flag or 2 on each entry.

Checking the achievements can help -- however, you may not get the completion achievement if you skipped a boss or missed an optional one, and of course the achievement can't tell you if you did the quest or not. Before I used an addon for skill points, I still did OK using the achievements as a guideline for what I had and hadn't done when levelling up a new alt. Usually my memory would supplement "Ah but I botched the quest in that one" or "I know I did this, just ignored one boss" enough to get by. :p

I do check the achievements, but it makes it much more difficult since I need to look to see which ones I have not finished, then I have to jump back to list for one of those. No need for the extra step.

It will note a dungeon as complete even if you have missed the quest. That is annoying and I would like to see it fixed, but I have only had that happen once (when I couldn't pick up the quest when starting a dungeon) so I am not as worried about it.

This is a great idea. Especially since some groups run ahead so fast they mess up your quest so you may have to return to a dungeon you have entered before to finish the quest and get the skill point.

Happened to me a few times when I was collecting skill points for an alt.

Yeah, it would be a nice QoL addition. What I am referring to is a Skill Point Finder addon. Lists all possible skill point sources, and whether you've gotten them yet, including the dungeons.

I would LOVE to have something that showed me all possible skill points in an area in an easy to see fashion (on the map?)!

Urich's Skill Point Finder. Brings up a window listing where skill points are, and if you've gotten them yet. One part is the 40 dungeons. Every zone has a list with skill points from main questline, and skill points from skyshards there.

    It's not a map, though.

PC people have addons that fill the map with all the Points of Interest, Skyshard locations, and even main and side quest giver locations.

Doesn't the dungeon icon on your map turn white if you've completed the quest, regardless of achievements? Check which ones are still black and you've found the dungeons you're missing.

Bandits UI not only marks that you've done the dungeon but it includes whether one obtained the various vet achievements all at a glance on the specific dungeon selection panel. Such information, I am sure, would be helpful for console players. The less addons we need because they were adapted into the game, the better.

They improved the guild store search and added multi-crafting so... there is some precedence for adding QoL features of some sort.

While it's not exactly a list, dungeon icons on the map turn white as you complete the quest, disregarding the achievements. So if you actually finish the dungeon without doing the quest, the icon will stay black for you. Same goes for Trials I think.

This is true, I'm running dungeons solo on my new peep at least the ones I can and until you finish the quest they stay black. And in the case of dungeons with II versions they stay black until you do them both on the map, although you can right click on the quest and see which one is not done.
