How in the world would anyone even use these Necromancer's Spire items. Do they all fit together if you get the whole set or something? They seem so obscure

It's not worth 100k, honestly. Just take a normal cage and shove a glowy crystal in it.

The animation effect of the light is very nice, sink it into walls and you get an effect like you are underwater. My only criticism is it is very, very bright!

It counts as a special furnishing for some reason, so take that into account when using them.

They are just as obscure as many other Luxury furnishing items. Like, how many houses will have a giant windmill? How many houses will want glowing rings of fungi? How many houses will want Tailoring accessories, but specifically a Clockwork style Tailoring accessory? So the Necro spires are no more niche than that.

That said, I think they fit a cultist/necro/graveyard vibe quite well. They don't really 'fit' together as such, but you could make a henge by placing them in a circle, use them alongside walls and boulders to make a fancy graveyard/crypt/cave vault, or just use them as a necromantic altar.

That's actually what I was hoping to use it for. The price is pretty darned stiff though.

The new light has some fantastic lighting effects. Reminds me of the light reflected from the sea.

Argh. I want that hanging light-cage, but I don't think I have anything worth selling that will net me that much gold.

I think certain furnishings and assets are put there because if you stack many of them it would probably impact performance. Things like the water effect from this light or the smoke from witches bog mist etc
