Thief Personality sprint bug?

I just bough the Thief personality, but I'm a bit disappointed since the sprint animation from the preview isn't playing in game. Every so often, I can see my character get into the proper animation for half a second max before it pops back to the default run animation.

I know there are very few personalities that modify the run animation, but the Drunk and Zombie ones work fine for me. It's only the Thief that's not doing the proper run.

I was just wondering if anyone else was having this issue and whether it could be fixed, considering this is a crown store personality.

Still not fixed. I am having this issue with the Drunk personality.
What makes me upset is I submitted a ticket and they just took it away from me and gave me crowns back. WHAT?!
No sorry no try this just nope you can't have it here's your crowns back...

Isn’t thay what you asked for? You didn’t like how the personality you purchased worked and so they have you a refund.

Only some personalities modify the sprint animation (I’m told Jesters and Beast do). I don’t think any of thoe that I have modify sprint (only walk and run) and to me it makes sense since sprint is all out effort and realistically you really can’t do that with flair a stiff pose, etc. (I know some personalities are not meant to be realistic and that is fine, of course, but I prefer those that feel more natural.)

I've actually found out it's not a bug. There just isn't a sprint animation for that personality.

The preview shows a walk/jog/run animation. What's not clear is that the sprinting doesn't use the 'run' animation, it actually is a fourth animation on top of that. However, with mouse and keyboard, we aren't able to see the 'jog' under normal circumstances. Which of the four animations you get depends on what speed you're going, so RP walking with the Wild Hunt ring goes fast enough to jog instead of run. On controller, you can get each style depending on how far you move the joystick.

With that in mind, we are seeing all of the animations. I'd prefer if there were a sprint animation added, but as it stands this isn't a bug. Even looking at things like the Drunk personality, the sprint animation isn't wobbly like the run, it's just the standard but holding a mug. It doesn't even splash the mead anymore.

AFAIK the only personalities that do have unique sprint animations are Beast, Jester, and Zombie.

I did not ask for a refund. I wanted to know why the preview shows unique run and jog animations that are not working.
I saw in an old thread they were told to run in circles to "help" the issue. I did this and got the animation for run but it lasted a few seconds. Why show unique run/jog animations if it does not do that.. If it's just the emotes and walk ok but don't preview something you wont get.

Submit a bug ticket to extend/remove the movement speed limits on the animations.
