Stage 4 Vamps

I can, in a way, understand NPC's refusing to interact with a stage 4 vamp. After all, they are notoriously not nice. I can always go into a Thieves' Den and use the bank and merchant there.
BUT there are some services you just can't get in the dens. Buying bags is one of them. Why is it the Bag Merchant in Summerville won't let you buy bag space now? Is it just Summerville or is it the same everywhere? Just curious, but was this an intentional "bug" to get people to buy the space in the Crown store?

drop your stage and buy the upgrades you need.

You can also slot mesmerise and use it on the merchant in question before talking to them.

You can use Mesmerize skill to bypass trade restriction of stage 4 vampirism, but in Western Skyrim seems some traders and bankers are bugged and immune to Mesmerize, but you can travel to another zone.
Just checked, Mesmerize don't work on bag merchants even in other zones, looks like a bug.
You can decrease stage of vampirism by Purifying Bloody Mara drink, you can craft it or buy from guild traders.

There is actually a Pack Merchant that does work and that's the one in Coldharbour. Which again--you may have to complete the quest to actually use it, but that's also an alternative.

Also, just to note;

Not all guild merchants will be able to be Mesmerized. So your mileage will vary on where you can get Purified Bloody Mara from. If you can't find any, see if someone is willing to part with a unit of it to reduce your stage.

Use the mesmerize skill on npcs most will talk to you after that if they have a pink haze above their head.

Imagine, entering the city, wearing heavy closed helmet, and every Npc still knows, that you are vampire. Same with skins.

I know it’s a little off topic but I hope some day they buff vampire atm the negatives outweigh the positives and I love playing a vampire.

Actually it works well with a MagBlade.

Nice nb only class I play and I love both specs I’m going to make vampire work on stamblade and magblade there are some things I like about it don’t get me wrong.

Is this a bug or intended with pack merchants? Is it some silly attempt to make me buy from crown store? Why should I have to reduce my damn stage to increase my bag space, *** is what it is.

I just switch back and forth between the two bloody mara drinks. Crafted like 500 of each and treat them like potions
