It's time for autoloot

OK I'm a warden with a bear and sick and tired of doing the unhappy dance when trying to loot around the freaking thing. Yea blah blah blah I could play a different class or get rid of the bear but hey its a Warden!

It's time for auto loot when you kill something you auto loot it instead of needing to click on the corpes, many other games have this option as a perk on skill trees etc. I can't BEAR it anymore!

I got good news for you.

Go into your settings -> gameplay -> items -> auto loot -> turn it on

Edit: Nvm, this just takes all of the item out of a container. It still requires you to target the corpse.

Its time for *optional auto loot.

I can't BEAR forced auto loot..hell, I can't even bear taking i more junk that ZoS keeps throwing at us...

They need to give us the option to turn pvp armors/weapons into pvp points and pve armors/weapons in to pve points that we can use to get a random box.

I am sick and tired of getting that rewards of X in the mail and trying to play 4D chess every damn time I log in with my items.

    Endless Sorting Online.

This is after I max out selling the stuff in the guild traders. Deconning things for the mats....which takes up even more space.... I won't NPC stuff I can extract expensive mats from... However I WOULD like to transform them into points that don't take up space in my inventory and gives me a chance to get another item that I want.

A system similar to both the purple crown gems + the undaunted pledge system. Except we give points instead of a key.

Then they won't have a item apocalypse on their hands when they keep adding more stuff to the game.

Also it gives us a chance to change our gears when they decide to switch everything up. We are more likely to farm when we mulch our old armor/weapons and then try to get the ones we want through the system....and then farm the rest....

I feel the same way about my bear. I get rid of him in towns just to be polite plus I'm a crafter and turning writs in with him is a nightmare.

Amen, brother/sister...it’s definitely more than time for an optional auto loot feature we can turn on. In BDO I think the non combat pets pick up your loot for you if they’re well fed.

Or, they could fix the damn bear to only be a collision during combat....

Autoloot by area without having to click on the millimeter area to get loot without jumping.

I can't be the only one who jumps instead of looting like 95% of the time.

No problem with it being an OPTION in settings.

But I like the way I have it, all loot pooled so I can click on one corpse and decide what I want, or loot all myself.

Pets can be a bit of a pain, but Ive never found it overly obstructive.

This would probably make me enjoy my werewolves a lot more too. Having to pick between taking the time to loot or keeping up werewolf form takes the fun out of it for me.

I wholly support the suggestion. Other games already do AutoLoot, and it's high time ESO caught up.

Especially with the new Antiquities Leads. I have to trek to every single ranged mob that died to my dots because they're out of range of area loot but might be the one mob that will drop that annoying-AF lead I've been farming these past 3 days...

No thanks, forced auto loot is horrible.
The only way this is acceptable if it's toggable in settings just like current auto-loot is.

Agreed it would need to be a setting.

    Eh.

I for one don't really see the need for one more thing people want some program to do for them just so they don't have to pay attention to what they or their pets are going... what's next, auto-looting all containery just by looking at them or walking past so you don't miss that one goodie among a thousand bits of ash or lockpicks? Auto-collecting all the lore without having to read it? Or auto-reward for all the quests upon picking them up, so you don't have to bother actually doing them?

I mean, I could see it for games that are based around something highly mobile, like space fighter combat or something like that, but... ESO? Where its no big deal 99.9% of the time to just stop and riffle through the fallens pockets?

Worse, how would y'all expect them to justify the programmer time coding this? I mean, they certainly do like to get a profit from stuff, so... anything that makes them extra effort without being sold in the crown store or bundled with an expansion has that much less of a chance to get done...

We’re going on 3 years of these issues persisting with Warden bears. Over double that time for Sorc pets.....

Pretty sure they don’t have any plans to address this lol.

i usually stand inside peoples bears. It's the huge flying matriarchs I hate. Always flapping the huge wings when you're trying to craft or bank.

Lol just walking past is a bit of a stretch but made me laugh. Let's extend that to not even needing to ever need to do anything except actually log in, loot and experience just accumulates and you just log in and look at it then log out. No play required.

Due to the way that combat pets function in this game I've opted not to use them at all on my hybrid dps/healer magsorc. Don't even have skill points allocated to them. Doing just fine without them. Also, they're really ugly.
