The patch notes state: "Leads . . . do not require you to be an Antiquarian to obtain them . . . ."
My main crafter is level 10 in the Antiquities skill trees and has acquired all of the mythic items as well as the wolf mount.
Today, as an experiment, I let a level 13 "mule" character out into Tamriel to see if a character without the new Antiquities skill trees could get leads. Indeed, my nice "mule" got a Purple lead and a mythic lead, without having either Antiquities skill tree. (As an aside, I have read other players claiming that a character must be level 7 to get mythic leads to drop. Obviously this is not true, as my "mule" didn't even have the trees.) Anyway, to get the mythic lead, my "mule" had to kill approximately 20 bosses (all solo-kills). This is far more work than my main crafter ever had to endure to get a mythic lead. So I was wonderin': Does higher level in the Antiquities skill trees improve the odds of getting a mythic item lead to drop? Or was my poor "mule" simply out of favor with the Random Number Gods?
