Nord Stamina Warden DPS?

Sheylin
Sheylin
Soul Shriven
As the title might suggest, I am curious if playing as a nord stamden would be terribly gimping myself in the long run? I understand that there are better races for the stamina setups, but I do love nords. Currently I have a wood elf stamden, but I just find the nord aesthetic very pleasing. Thanks for any advice! ♥

Note: I would probably make this character a werewolf.

The race-class combo only matters if you're chasing end game Leaderboards, @Sheylin ... and even then it can still be viable in the the right player's hands.

I'd focus on enjoying the game and clearing the vast majority of content with it, IMO.

I had similar thoughts. I already have a Nord stamsorc, and the DPS difference is noticable, but not crippling.

You might be able to get away with a little less health than usual because of Nord's resistance passive (so you can use recovery food/drinks), but that will depend on the content you're running, in particular if there's a lot of oblivion damage coming your way that ignores your resistances.
Alandrol Sul: He's making another Numidium?!?
Vivec: Worse, buddy. They're buying it.

Its fine for all content. Stamina, health, resistances and ultimate generation. Excellent choice for tank and solo content and fine for stamina dps.

Player skill would have more of an impact on dps than the race. A good player with a nord will out perform a bad or average player with an orc or redguard.

If it’s fun for you, then it can definitely complete every piece of PVE content in the game (assuming open-minded teammates). Nord has some strong passives, primarily defensive, but in offense they’re not far from Woof Elf.

That being said, the Nord Stamden combo doesn’t have much synergy IMO. I could see the Nord ult gen passive being useful on something like a Necromancer to use more Colossus ultimates, or even a Nightblade to use Incap more frequently. On Warden, casting the bear more often isn’t very important. It’s active attack is only about 1/3 of the Bear DPS, and the 2 passive components won’t be increased by more frequent ultimates.
