4 hours of fishing makes me believe this is bugged atleast for my account, the Stros Mkai lead took me 15 mins. Is anyone else having this experience and can someone look into this?

NeptunXIV✭✭Yesterday I got mine after fishing around 10 fishing spots. I know some people are having the worst RNG with many other leads dropping too. Some leads aren't even dropping at all and are bugged (e.g. Prismatic Sunbird Feather).

like that. I found 2 gold leads, one in Southern Elsweyr, and one in Auridon. I got the message of the drop, but when I Checked the map to scry there was nothing there. I checked again the antiquities tab for them - and it says "found 0"- and yet the image of them (as opposite for no found - just an exclamation mark) is there - as proof that I found them. So I am inclined to believe this is a bug. I will try to insert the screenshots because last night I was so SURE I found them, that I simply checked the map for scry - and I had nothing to scry in there. Can someone at least answer if this is normal for golden leads ( misleading finds, to make it more challenging) - or it is a bug?

Might be a dumb Question but did you travel to southern elsweyr and check the scryable tab? Or did you only look at it in the Codex? Asking that because it never happened to me and I got quite a few Gold furnishing leads already.Politeness is respecting others.

naturebased✭✭✭I switched characters and got the lead on the third reel. Yes, 3 minutes of time. So, I think it was glitched on my initial character for some reason. I hope ZOS can look into this so that others don't have the same problem and waste that much time.0

Pyr0xyrecuprotite✭✭✭✭✭@Erissime the "found = 0" simply means that you have not dug up the antiquity yet. Go to the zone with the lead (which may be a different zone from where the lead was found), do the dig, and then it should update to 1.0
