Has anyone else experienced this? I play controller on PC, and if my controller disconnects from bluetooth, it will not reconnect. I can reconnect it fine outside of eso, but in game it will not recognize it again until I restart my entire computer.

xbox one controller. with bluetooth when connect controller to xbox or phone or other pc the i have to go through delete / add bluetooth device wait for drivers etc.
with bluetooth headphones and controller if controller disconnected again.
at the end bought that dongle for pc and now it doesn't matter which controller i take or at witch pc i go to play just connect dongle start controller
if through steam i have steam controller overlay (or whatever-it-is turned off)

This is not a ZOS or ESO issue. This is a PC local issue.

Contract Microsoft or the designated support contact for your controller or contact your bluetooth software provider to get troubleshooting steps for bluetooth.

I find that if my controller gets disconnected, I often can’t just plug it back in or reconnect Bluetooth and have the game pick it up again. Every other game I’ve played picks the controller right back up without a problem, no restart required. This problem occurs with ESO, not with any other game on my computer.

The problem occurs with wired controller connections as well as Bluetooth, and only (in my experience) with ESO. Games like Skyrim, Fallout 4, Fallout 76, Assassin’s Creed: Odyssey, etc. — they all seamlessly pick the controller back up once reconnected. ESO does not.

Thank you. I'm glad I'm not the only one experiencing this. ... It is a problem, and there's so few controller users that I doubt this problem will ever be fixed.

I got a new controller that disconnects and reconnects just fine...which is weird, but I'll take it. The 8bitdo sn30 pro+
