Bug or something else?

I was in Bal Foyen last night, saw a node and when I went to farm it, another player got there and picked it up. My interaction button became grey and I couldn't pick it up. I chalked it up to me getting there behind the other player, so I moved on to the next node, just a couple steps way. That was when things began to get weird.

I was clearly alone at the second note - the other player was still picking up the first node - but my interaction button was still greyed out. I thought that it might had been lag or desynch, so I tried to get away from the other player.

I got to a place where I couldn't see them, there were 3 nodes very close together but yet, I could not interact with them. I rolled dodged, it didn't work so I reloaded UI. When I loaded back in the nodes were gone (no surprise) and the other player was nearby. My interaction button was still grey and for a few seconds I couldn't use it. I tried using it on some containers, interaction still grey and then, all of a sudden, I was able to interact with objects again.

Was that just lag/desynch/what-have-you or was it something else?

I think it's some sort of de-synch.

It happens far too often.

I can generally cure it for a specific location by doing a roll and trying again.
I have no clue why it didn't work for you, unless it was some combination of other stuff.
The only time (s) it does't work for me is when I'm in the process of being disconnected.

Thank you. I did roll dodge, what I found odd was the fact that my button remained grey for a few minutes, even after reloading.
