Coalesce (and maybe other magicka drains) first turn bugs scrying interface

When using Coalesce on the first turn, especially since I leveled it up fully, the scrying interface undergoes the "scrying over" animation where the tiles shrink and a dialog asks if I'm sure I want to exit.
When I exit that dialog, I return to the scrying interface -- except the eye is gone, tiles and all. The only way forward is to exit the interface and scry again

The eye is just invisible, not gone. You can see in the top-right indications that I'm clicking the eye (wrong facet).
Also this only seems to happen the first time I try a blue Artaeum lead. I haven't tried other zones.
