Vampire Lord polymorph

I would like to see a Vampire Lord polymorph.
I am very happy with the vampire lord scion ultima we got here in Greymoor, and even if it was a bit hard for me to get used to it in the start, I now fully understand why we can not all walk around and be a vampire lord like in Skyrim... So no hard feelings there.
But just for the sake of the looks and the nostalgia of the old vampire lord form Skyrim, I still really wish to see a way to get the looks of the original vampire lord in ESO.
I don't want a memento that lasts only 5 seconds, I would like to see a polymorph to toggle on and off.

We are vamp lords of Lamae's line, the quest literally says so. Also I'm about to blow your mind:
The psijiic order exists. The world only has one "player" in it, one vestige. Every one else doesn't exist in lore. So with these two facts combined together, there actually literally is no reason why we can't become vampire lords similar to NPCs. Simply put, there isn't a lot of peeps running around in lore.
I'm just saying, we literally are able to join the MOST legendary and elusive order of reality, time, and space bending mages, yet we can't become vampire lords because....?
They aren't on the same level. How and why? Well, in the psijiic quest one of the reasons why we're told to do stuff is because if the other members stepped in they're so powerful that it'd alter reality. Vampire lords are powerful, but they are incapable of altering reality or even stepping close to that power.
We've fought more vamp lords this expansion than there are literal members of the psijiic order.
It is something I personally will never accept.
Only way I'll be happy is if they remove the psijiic skill line if we aren't supposed to be a part of anything "rare and mystical".
At this point I can only hope we'll be able to at least unlock it as a skin once we defeat the big bad vamp lord.

Did this is ever occur to you at all? the Grey Host is not a Vampire Strain, it is a group of Vampires AND Werewolves who had united under the Banner of the Verkarth Vampire, he himself though was not a Vampire Lord as we do actually fight him at a dolmen, the Winged Vampire Lords who are members of the Gray Host may have all come from a strain which we are not part of, given the location that we have only ever found Vampire Lords it is quite possible they belong only to the strain found in that region.
Lamae Bal herself was never a Winged Vampire Lord, if she was we would be as well but no we get this Blood Scion form which is basically her version of Lady Essenia Blood Knight or do you think she is truly that dumb to take a form like the Vampire Lord and make it into this? read her dialogue again and pay close attention...
A handful of greater vampires lay claim to a twisted shape gifted to them by the Defiler. Why should my children not possess such horror-wrought strength?
The way it is implied strongly suggests that she never had the form at all and she created the Blood Scion for her "children" to compete with it, had she been a Vampire Lord herself there would of been no need for her to create the form as those she turned would of inherited it, also mechanics-wise it just would not work, Vampire Lord flies around not to mention they are like 12 feet tall and as for a Vampire Lord's power, Rada-Al-Saran fought a God to a stand still, it is mentioned by an NPC at Leki's Blade, even the leader of the Psijic Order is not that powerful, even Mannimarco is not even that powerful.Edited by TX12001rwb17_ESO on August 8, 2020 3:41PM0 -

You're just interjecting your own narrative into it to make it seem like she means something different, when in reality she is literally saying "Yeah I wanted to make vampire lords too."
Also how do you know she doesn't have the form herself? She never mentions it once. She just says why shouldn't her children get access to such a form?
Also did it ever occur to you that we kill tons of vamp lords? We even solo killed one in the campaign. Yet you claim they're strong enough to take on gods? Lol. Okay, so then I guess the player is as strong as a god in your own words then? Then how come they die to players so easily? Rada himself is strong enough for other reasons aside from just being a vamp lord, but literally nobody is asking to be that strong.

✭How many years has it been since Morrowind? Three? In that time if you look in the cosmetic section the collector edition grey Warden bear skin is still the ONLY item in that entire section of the interface!
They really need to start making cosmetic skins for things like this, along with Sorcerer pets and spell visual colors/effects.
The fact they haven't is a HUGE missed opportunity for fun and profit. People need to question leaders more. Especially when they are not pursuing things that would make the customers happier AND make the company more money, for the most minimal investment of doing some simple cosmetic reskins.

Speaking of them not wanting to make extra money/save money: Why are we not re-using NPC skills for player characters? For example the bat swarm gap closer and a good bit of the new vamp related spells.
I dont understand why they went into this expansion and thought "yeah Tim, go ahead and give NPC vamps all new abilities, but then make completely new ones for the player."
Makes little sense to me. There are a lot of skills like this in even the base game. They even have call-down animations for Ice and Flame atronachs, yet sorcs can't summon those I guess.
Like not only in some cases could it have saved money (for example with vampire and necro.... No idea why more npc skills weren't utilized there.) And in other cases it could give more variety to classes if we as players had access to the same variety of skills. Like with Sorcs I mentioned up there. It is your logic that is false, she was not trying to replicate the Vampire Lord form but mock it, maybe you have not noticed but the Blood Scion is far more humanoid then the Vampire Lord, it does not slouch over, it has normal hands, it retains the regular Vampire eyes not to mention it has larger horns and that Vampire Lord you solo is a mere Fledgling having been turned quite recently and not an Ancient, Svargrim would be the weakest Vampire Lord in the entire game.
Every Other Vampire Lord in the game requires a group of people to defeat, as for the Vestige dying to other players? maybe you die easily to other players but this a is a video game and therefor needs to be balanced.0 -

Why would she be trying to mock the vampire lord form? Mocking it by removing the best features doesn't exactly make any sense. Also she doesn't state anywhere that she is mocking it, she just wants her children to have access to a 'perfected' form, which quite honestly is very silly considering what she gave us. Also why would she make the form look more like Molag Bal if she was trying to mock him?

Why are you assuming that we'll somehow mystically be all powerful ancient vampires? Unless this isn't your assumption, which if this is true then your logic is indeed false. Because you're comparing an ancient vampire lord to literally someone who just became it. If you aren't assuming then your facts still don't check out because then we'd have no reason why we as players can't be vampire lords.
True for the group portion, but last I checked the group doesn't equal the power of a god. Which was your point, thus why it is false. They can still be taken down. And chances are we'll probably 1v1 the "main vamp lord guy who stood against a god" without much trouble too.
And like you said, this is a video game so it needs balance. So....if they can balance literally letting players be reality/time bending mages, why on earth can they not balance vampire lords for players? With all of what YOU just listed, you literally have no reason as to why we can't be vampire lords. They COULD of made them balanced for players. We are vamp lords of Lamae's line, the quest literally says so. Also I'm about to blow your mind:
The psijiic order exists. The world only has one "player" in it, one vestige. Every one else doesn't exist in lore. So with these two facts combined together, there actually literally is no reason why we can't become vampire lords similar to NPCs. Simply put, there isn't a lot of peeps running around in lore.
I'm just saying, we literally are able to join the MOST legendary and elusive order of reality, time, and space bending mages, yet we can't become vampire lords because....?
They aren't on the same level. How and why? Well, in the psijiic quest one of the reasons why we're told to do stuff is because if the other members stepped in they're so powerful that it'd alter reality. Vampire lords are powerful, but they are incapable of altering reality or even stepping close to that power.
We've fought more vamp lords this expansion than there are literal members of the psijiic order.
It is something I personally will never accept.
Only way I'll be happy is if they remove the psijiic skill line if we aren't supposed to be a part of anything "rare and mystical".
At this point I can only hope we'll be able to at least unlock it as a skin once we defeat the big bad vamp lord.
Did this is ever occur to you at all? the Grey Host is not a Vampire Strain, it is a group of Vampires AND Werewolves who had united under the Banner of the Verkarth Vampire, he himself though was not a Vampire Lord as we do actually fight him at a dolmen, the Winged Vampire Lords who are members of the Gray Host may have all come from a strain which we are not part of, given the location that we have only ever found Vampire Lords it is quite possible they belong only to the strain found in that region.
Lamae Bal herself was never a Winged Vampire Lord, if she was we would be as well but no we get this Blood Scion form which is basically her version of Lady Essenia Blood Knight or do you think she is truly that dumb to take a form like the Vampire Lord and make it into this? read her dialogue again and pay close attention...
A handful of greater vampires lay claim to a twisted shape gifted to them by the Defiler. Why should my children not possess such horror-wrought strength?
The way it is implied strongly suggests that she never had the form at all and she created the Blood Scion for her "children" to compete with it, had she been a Vampire Lord herself there would of been no need for her to create the form as those she turned would of inherited it, also mechanics-wise it just would not work, Vampire Lord flies around not to mention they are like 12 feet tall and as for a Vampire Lord's power, Rada-Al-Saran fought a God to a stand still, it is mentioned by an NPC at Leki's Blade, even the leader of the Psijic Order is not that powerful, even Mannimarco is not even that powerful.
Yeah, I do think she is dumb enough to turn it into this. If she could replicate the form so accurately, what is stopping her from giving us wings and being more like a vampire lord?
And I don't know what you're assuming with that Dialogue, in fact I think that quote works against you.

It is your logic that is false, she was not trying to replicate the Vampire Lord form but mock it, maybe you have not noticed but the Blood Scion is far more humanoid then the Vampire Lord, it does not slouch over, it has normal hands, it retains the regular Vampire eyes not to mention it has larger horns and that Vampire Lord you solo is a mere Fledgling having been turned quite recently and not an Ancient, Svargrim would be the weakest Vampire Lord in the entire game.
Every Other Vampire Lord in the game requires a group of people to defeat, as for the Vestige dying to other players? maybe you die easily to other players but this a is a video game and therefor needs to be balanced.
Why would she be trying to mock the vampire lord form? Mocking it by removing the best features doesn't exactly make any sense. Also she doesn't state anywhere that she is mocking it, she just wants her children to have access to a 'perfected' form, which quite honestly is very silly considering what she gave us. Also why would she make the form look more like Molag Bal if she was trying to mock him?

Why are you assuming that we'll somehow mystically be all powerful ancient vampires? Unless this isn't your assumption, which if this is true then your logic is indeed false. Because you're comparing an ancient vampire lord to literally someone who just became it. If you aren't assuming then your facts still don't check out because then we'd have no reason why we as players can't be vampire lords.
True for the group portion, but last I checked the group doesn't equal the power of a god. Which was your point, thus why it is false. They can still be taken down. And chances are we'll probably 1v1 the "main vamp lord guy who stood against a god" without much trouble too.
And like you said, this is a video game so it needs balance. So....if they can balance literally letting players be reality/time bending mages, why on earth can they not balance vampire lords for players? If Vampire Lords are drawing upon the power of Molag Bal (Which they aren't, they are a blessing by molag bal yes, but they do not directly *get* power from Molag Bal. They aren't a priest calling upon power of their deity, vampire magic is vampire magic. What Im getting at being a vampire lord and calling upon the power of molag bal are two completely different things. Which means regardless of how Lamae feels, she is indeed using the same power as every other vampire molag bal has had a hand in.)
Want to know what proves this? Rada al-Saran. He isn't a huge fan of his family being prisoners in coldharbor, thus why he is breaking them out, going directly against Molag Bal. Yet he is still a vampire lord at full power.
But let us go along with your statement here for a minute. If the form was directly drawing power from Lamae Bal, why does the Blood Scion look more like Molag Bal than a vamp lord? Why wouldn't it be something completely different?
Also what is stopping her from having her own vampire lords that "draw upon her power" then? She's already half way there, why are they so weak? I find it hard to believe she could get the body right, but none of the magic-features or the wings. Yet she somehow figured out how to make them not have any vampiric weaknesses, something Harkon and no other "ancient vamp lord" could do.

As for Rada-Al-Saran let me ask your a simple question, how do you suppose he became a Vampire, if he is pureblooded it would have to have come from directly from Molag Bal which would also imply his hatred of him was not always a thing otherwise he would of never become a Vampire, either that or he was *** by him like Lamae was which is probably not the case, or the other option is he is not a pureblooded Vampire and was turned by someone who was like Lord Harkon for instance, infact for all we know every Vampire Lord we encounter could be a Vampiric descendant of Harkon's Bloodline and if that is the case then why do you think Lamae Bal would have the Winged Vampire Lord form when she is a different species of Vampire? that's like thinking a Werebear can assume the Werewolf Lord form.

✭✭✭✭✭Even if the polymorph is super tiny I'd buy it in an instant. That iconic look was what everyone was looking forward to when we heard vampire was getting a transformation anyway. Making it a polymorph is a good idea because we know we can't be skeletons, deadra, automatons, and other such silly things.
