Time for a texture update?

Traveling around Western Skyrim and saw this rock with the lowest res texture I have ever noticed in this game, I am playing on ultra settings on PC. I have noticed some low res textures before but usually they are in the older base game zones. I wasn't expecting to see something so dated looking in a new chapter. Is it time for a texture update for some older assets?
Edit: Sorry for the way the pic is posted I am not a forum guru.

In the recent interview posted here, Rich mentioned they aren't doing anything even with old assets, I doubt they'd do anything with assets in a brand new release.

What a shame but it’s not surprising. I wish they would just focus on the worst looking ones and redo some of them every update.

They definitely need to update a lot of stuff. The worst imo-look at Khajiit architecture in Reaper's March compared to what's right next door in Elsweyr. It's nearly the exact same style, much, much worse looking textures. I still like my Serenity Falls Estate, but I hate seeing houses in N and S Elsweyr.

It's a shame when there are such amazing AI upscalers available today. They could just throw their entire texture folder in to a program and test what pops out the other side. Most of it would "just work"™.

I agree that some assets, rocks/mountains and trees especially, could use a lot of love. More than just textures though, they need complete remodels. Even TES4 Oblivion had more detailed rock and tree models, which is quite worrying. Most of the current ESO rock and tree models are holdovers from the original (scrapped) art direction of the game, back when it was revealed as a cartoony low-spec game only playable in third person. Community outcry forced them to change direction hard, but while a lot of architecture and character models got redone, many assets like trees and rocks didn't, which is why we still see such a weird disparity to this day.
