Fanged Worm Staff motif gets stuck

This is my favorite staff motif, but when I put it on the backbar, sometimes my front bar looks the same even though it's a different staff motif. This makes it hard for me to tell which bar I am on.
I will use a different motif, but later I will forget why I'm not using my favorite and it will all happen again.
Sometimes the correct colors of the other staff will show.
