Black walls?

The hot fix this morning fixed the latency/fps issue I was having, but now some walls and trees in southern elsweyr are black. It's not a shadow thing. even turning off shadows doesn't make the texture appear. I rolled back the graphics card driver update i did last night. didn't help. (NVIDIA GTX 1070). I've played around with every setting in game and out that I can think of and the walls stubbornly remain black. (Even on the char load screen there is a black area on the right side). I have only seen it in southern elsweyr (not northern) and Greymoor. the base game seems to be ok. if it were solely my graphics card setting, i would have expected to at least see it in Northern Elsweyr as well. Anyone else experience this? Or know how to fix it? even with the latency issues yesterday, this wasnt a problem.

Have you tried running a repair through the ESO launcher?

There could be missing or corrupted game files leading to the black walls you're seeing in game.

Thanks for the suggestion. I might try that. I bumped the graphics back up to high, and i got the wall textures back. That's what I normally play on, but with all the FPS issues right after update, i had bumped it down. It does seem odd that I lose some of the (presumably) newer textures on lower graphics settings, tho. So perhaps a repair is in order.
