Thank you so much! I can't imagine one patch could ruin my build. But I thank you for it and those that supported you to not allow mist form to be usefull like it's on live.
I mean, it's not just the mist form but the vampire stages and the way it's handled. It's more focused on PvE RP than actual PvP and PvE content.
I have seen ppl be vamp and yes it can be viable but not in a huge margin as it was before Greymoor patch.

So, thank you so much to a ruin a build that I loved. Thank you!

I've never been a vamp, but seeing the trees before and after revamp the passive seemed godlike before.

I wasn't even vamp and I got nerfed because of some crappy mythic items and spell parasite set.

For that, I still want the chapter deleted. It introduced absolutely nothing positive for me at all.

My vampire tank is loving it. I'm running Stage 4. AoE stun with Hypnotize for crowd control, and with damage reduction added into Blood Mist, I don't even have to block anymore - I just Mist Form for heavy attacks or when I need heals, and let Blood Mist soak it back up. 3 dps runs suddenly got so much easier, not to mention the value of Hypnotize for fights like MHK HM and MGF HM.

And any bright ideas for PvP?!

    My gods ..

A chapter is bound to change things around.
i'm really sorry for your build, but it happened to many in the past, and it'll happen to many in the future.
Such is the price of a system where any class can be anything. Skills change. things happen.

Those passive-aggressive posts "thx for ruining XXX" have to stop. Unngh ...

I have some ideas and strategies I developed a short time ago. As much as I hate this rework the greatest tool in the vampire's arsenal is the stage 4 passive... amazingly. In a team based PVP fight you suddenly become a flanker and I did it so many times in the Imperial City last night the EP group had a very hard time dealing with it.

Typically in group fights the frontline fighters charge ahead to meet the enemy head on. These are the hard to kill tanks with the powerful burst attacks you have to look out for, but the people behind them are typically the healers and long range damage dealers. This back line is more focused on your allies and suddenly getting ganked from behind or the sides can be devastating, especially with the Strike from the Shadows passive applying to you after you leave the invisibility sprint. Kill the group's healers and your group will have an easier time winning the battle.

Basically you're playing like a nightblade but using stamina to stay invisible instead of magicka. Also Stupify's 53% snare can be very useful if you can land the dang thing.

Indeed, that's why it's called Flavor of the Month, and not Flavor of the Game.

Passive vamping? You mean like how vampire was treated in all ES games pre-vampire lord? Vampire was always passives with some minor flavor skills.

There is a difference between making vamp an active role and destroying it altogether, they completely missed the mark.

Really, because a lot of people are saying otherwise. There wasn't a decrease in "I need a vamp bite" shouts this morning, that I could see either, and I would guess that those people are making a decision based around the changes, since they've been the highlight of discussion at all hours.

I think this demonstrates that exploring the changes and how they can be utilized will make a big difference in how useful the vampire skill line is for each of us. I am not a fan of such a heavy change but I do see some positive aspects with the new line.

No! It's not and stop lying to yourself. Vamp is bad and all thanks to ZoS and some players that don't actively play PvP.

The handful that are saying the Vamp changes are horrible sound like those old boomers that refuse to accept any kind of change.. lol

Thank you open minded people for giving us console players hope that the vamp changes were not that bad!

Also if you are playing an unkillable, or just really really tanky person and Cyro please stop. Let someone that actually wants to PvP in :(

Vamp is bad but I managed to play it well. I had several vampires try to gank me during that run and all of them died in seconds because I'm a MagDK built to hit like a truck. They played very poorly and it cost them dearly.

Blood Frenzy is honestly one of the most worthless abilities in PVP and Vampiric Drain gets you killed as well. Only vampire abilities that work are Eviscerate, Mistform, and Mesmerize on a good day ((Basically initiating a fight since during a fight you won't land it unless you get super lucky)). Blood Scion is honestly not that good either since cheaper burst ultimates can take advantage of the Strike From the Shadows passive much better.

I basically played vampire for the passives, which is what the devs wanted to avoid. I find this quite funny to be honest.

    Thx for the response.
Actually, I tried but Vamp is bad. It's playstyle isn't for me.
Damn, now I have to level another class that's better than my templar and I always enjoyed templar tank heal bot for that build being unkillable, in addition it had good mobility without dying in that mist form.

    Sad! Really sad!
